--------------------------------------------------

I walked into the detention room and sighed.

Why am I even here?

I walked to the very back and dropped my bag onto the floor and sat in the chair.

I grabbed my phone and began texting my brother.

text to dex - don't wait up, detention bc of your stupid little friend.

"That's not very nice." Dylan said, while looking at my phone screen.

I looked up at him & rolled my eyes.

"Once again, why are you talking to me?" I asked, turning around in my desk and away from him.

"You're right, where are my manners? You should be in my bed right now, not detention." He smirked and dropped his bag next to mine.

He slid his desk closer to mine and sat down while chuckling.

I laid my head down on my desk, trying to fall asleep and ignore him.

He smells really good though.

"Well thank you, kat." Dylan said.

I opened my eyes wide and looked over at him.

"Thank me for for?" I asked she raising an eyebrow.

"Complementing me, of course." He smirked.

"Fuck this day." I said while face palming myself.

"No need to be embarrassed kitten." He smirked.

"Kitten? No. My name is Kataeh." I said looking at him blankly.

"It's called a Nickname, duh." He said while smirking.

I rolled my eyes and looked up at the teacher that just walked into the classroom.

Why did it have to be Mr. Sanchez?

He walked over to Dylan and I, he sat on a desk in front of me and looked directly at me.

"What do you plan on doing after highschool?" Mr. Sanchez asked.

"I really want to go to Baylor, they have an amazing business program." I said while looking at him.

He stepped away from the desk and sat on the desk in front of Dylan.

"Mr. Jock, Mr. Football, Mr. Quarterback. What do you plan on doing after highschool?" Mr. Sanchez asked.

I turned in my seat to face them with a smirk.

"Well, I already have a full scholarship to..." He stopped and looked over at me, while smirking.

"Baylor." We said at the same time.

My eyes widened.

"Are you serious? This can't be happening. I'm having a nightmare, that's all and soon it'll all be over." I said while putting my face into my palms.

"Kitten, it's real life." He said while playing with my hair.

I just laid my face on the desk and tried to take a nap.

"You are dismissed!" Mr. Sanchez yelled 30 minutes later.

My head sprung upwards along with Dylan's and he looked at me and the chuckled.

He grabbed his bag and walked towards the door and waited there.

I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes.

Why is he waiting for me?

I grabbed my back and threw it over my shoulder and stood up from my desk and tried walking away.

Immediately I was pulled backwards and my hair was being yanked.

I held my hand up to the spot where my hair was yanked.

"What the fuck?" I said, and got on my knees looking at what Dylan had done.

"Are we in kindergarten?!" I asked while yelling.

I tried to untie my tangled hair from the leg of the desk but couldn't do it.

"Dylan! Help me!" I yelled.

He walked back over to me with an annoying smirk.

"What do you say?" He asked.

"Help me." I said bluntly.

He began walking away.

"No! Please, help me!" I yelled.

He walked back towards me with an evil grin.

He bent down and began concentrating on the knot he tied in my hair while I stared blankly at his beautiful face.

His eyes were green, his hair was a hazelnut brown, his face was perfectly structured, his smirk gah I wanted to hate everything about him but he is actually kinda cute, but not my type.

He untangled my hair and smirked.

He climbed off the floor and grabbed his bag.

"Thanks, kitten." He said, while winking.

He turned around and walked out the detention room.

"Oh, God. I'm an idiot." I cringed and grabbed my bag, walking out the door.

This boy is going to be the death of me.
