Louis
I sigh as I toss my bag over my shoulder and head towards the library.
I smile at my friend, James, when I enter.
"Hey, Lou." He says as I carelessly toss all my stuff on the table. "You seem pissed."
"I just hate people."
"Same."
It's lunch time and James and I always come to the library and scroll through our phones, eating a snack we always get out of the machine.
Usually we just talk shît about all the losers in our school or get an early start on assignments.
Today was one of those talk shît kind of days.
"Vanessa is so annoying," James says as I grab my English notebook, opening it up to the next blank page, and starting the vocabulary we are suppose to memorize.
I snort. "What'd she do?"
"She kept flirting with me. Scratch that, I wouldn't even call it flirting. She just kept throwing herself at me. Even when I told her that I was gay! I don't even know."
He takes a deep breathe, his face red as he slowly breathes out."See I would offer you some good advice, but I don't have these problems." I say as he shoves a chip in his mouth.
I scrunch my face up in disgust.
"What?" He asks, his mouth full.
"You're disgusting."
"How?"
"Eat with your mouth closed, please."
He rolls his eyes but chews up his food and swallows. "Better?"
"Much."
I continue to write down the newest vocab, my mind wandering freely. I think back to yesterday when I met Harry.
I put my pencil down and look at James.
"Stop staring." He says without looking up.
"I'm not."
He looks at me and gives me a do you think I'm stupid look.
I raise my hands in surrender, "Woah just take it easy, man."
"Whatever. Why were you staring anyways?"
"I wasn't." He goes to say something but I speak before he does. "But if I were to stare at you, it would be because I had a question."
He looks at me with an annoyed expression. "Please ask me your question. I'm just dying to know."
"Okay, but only because you asked." For a second there I think he's going to punch me and I flinch back and laugh. "Do you know a Harry?"
He thinks for a moment, "Is he a senior?"
I shrug in response.
"Well there's a senior named Harry." He says. "Why do you ask?"
I try to keep my cheeks from flaming red, but there's no use, James knows me too well.
"You have a crush!" He announces loudly.
I glare at him and hit his arm silently telling him to shut the hell up.
He laughs in response. "So how'd you meet him?"
"Bro, I don't even know if we're talking about the same Harry. Besides, I don't even know him. You can't have a crush on someone you don't know."
He rolls his eyes. "Curly hair?"
I hesitate before nodding.
"We're talking about the same Harry. Plus you can have a crush on someone you don't know you fûcktard!"
"Whatever. What's his last name?"
He goes silent whilst he thinks before his eyes light up. "Styles. Harry Styles."
"Thanks."
"So where'd you m-"
Before he gets to finish his sentence the bell rings, signally the end of lunch.
I silently thank the heavens and smirk at James as I gather my stuff and shove it in my backpack.
He glares at me in return and I know he's mentally telling me that this conversation is not over.
I make my way to my next class and repeat the name over in my head so I won't forget it.
Harry Styles, Harry Styles, Harry Styles.

By the time I get home I am completely exhausted. Instead of doing my homework, I kick my shoes off and jump onto my bed.
I pick up my phone and go onto Facebook, immediately typing "Harry Styles" in the search bar.
Many people pop up and I decide to go with the one that I have 246 mutual friends with.
How did I not know about this guy?
I click on his profile seeing that it is indeed the guy I met in the hallway.
I look through his posts which are mainly just shared videos of kittens and I laugh as I look at old pictures of him.
Do I add him? I sit on my bed for twenty minutes trying to decide if I should add him or not.
My heart beats erratically in my chest, but before I get a chance to decide a notification pops up:
Harry Styles sent you a friend request.
