Chapter one

JONATHAN'S POV

~DREAM~

*BEEP* *BEEP*

I woke up in a dark room not knowing where I was or where that noise was coming from.

"Hi there Jonathan it's been awhile since I've seen you"

"Who goes there and who are you"

The voice sounded like a man's voice a voice which sounds familiar but I haven't heard in a long time.

*BEEP*BEEP*

"Jonathan, how can you not remember me?"

"Who are you"!!?

I saw a man stepping out of the shadow and that's when I saw him

"Jonathan it's me your father"

My father which I have not seen over 8 years I was angry at him for making me who I am now and that's when I remembered my father died in a fire.

"YOU'RE NOT REAL YOU'RE JUST MY IMAGINATION MY FATHER DIED 1 YEAR AGO!!!"

Everything around me turned into flames and that's when I saw her. My mother was on the other side of the room chained from her arms to the bed.

"Oh Jonathan that was never me I faked my death Jonathan, I told you I would come back for you and now your mother will never get in the way"

*BEEP**BEEP**BEEP*

He laughed this evil laugh which I did not like but I soon realized where my laugh came from, it was all because of my father's fault. My mother was screaming out my name telling me to run but I couldn't run, I was stuck in some sort of trap.

"Jonathan, it's time for us to go".

"JONATHAN NOOOOO RUNNN!!!!"

"JONATHAAAAN"

~End of Dream~

"JONATHAN! Wake up, your alarm has been going off and it's time for you to go to school or else you're going to miss the first day of school."

It was just a dream but it all seemed so real.

"Earth to Jonathan. Time for you to wake up sleepy head"

"Ugh mom I don't want to go to school no one's going to like me there anyways so what's the point of going to school?"

"Because you----

It's the truth no one ever did like me except for a boy who I call my best friend, Luke he understood me and knew what I was going through. We were great friends but now I don't see him anymore because we moved to Canada.

"Did you hear me Jonathan?"

"Sorry what did you said again mom"

"Just get ready Jonathan, I'll call you when the food is ready"

I got out of bed and walked over to my closet. I got a sky blue hoodie and put it over my white shirt after that I put my black jeans with some black converse. To finish it all off I grabbed my mask in which I wear all the time. My father gave me the mask before he got caught, and ever since that day I would always wear it when I go out.

"Jonathan foods ready and the bus is almost here so hurry up!!"

I headed down stairs and grabbed the pancake, I kissed my mother on the cheeks and said bye to her.
