Chapter 15

Vanoss POV

"Come on guys put more strength into it! You won't learn that fast!"

"E-Evan please let us take a break-"

"-No! We need to get stronger for tomorrow."

"Evan buddy, dude were stronger than them. They're all just humans and plus no human can ever stop us." Wildcat smirked.

"He's right Evan." Nogla said and everyone stopped doing what they where doing and went behind Nogla and Wildcat. I smiled.

"I guess you're right. But we should at least make a plan, we will act like humans but if we need to, we will use our powers. So everyone knows what to do?" Everyone just nodded. "Okay but will go over it one last time. Mini, you'll hack into there surveillance system and give us directions and location of the guards, Nogla you and lui are on sniper duty, take out anyone you see who are approaching wildcat and me. Nogla and lui, once you have taken everyone out will be regrouping from the back entrance. And remember everyone. If anything goes wrong don't hesitate to use your power but I doubt that would happen. Alright everyone go get some rest will be living tomorrow at dawn."

"Yes sir!" Everyone said at the same time and left the training room.

I sat on the edge of the roof and looked at the photos and documents attached to them. There wasn't that much information about them the only thing that was there was there age, height, and what they did in their past. As I was flipping through the papers I came across Jonathan again. He was wearing a hockey mask and I could see his eyes, they were a light blue color. Who is this person? Why do I feel like I know him? Those were the only questions going through my mind.

"I knew I would find you hear." A voice behind me said, I didn't need to turn around to know who the voice belonged to.

"Hey Lui. You need anything?" I asked as he sat besides me and putting the documents away.

"Nah, I was just worried about you. Ever since the accidents happened we haven't been the same and it's been 6 years, since we got our powers and yet there is more to discover about them." He sighed and kicked his foot like a little kid. "And I know for sure they don't want to see you like this. Evan. Please stop blaming yourself we all know it wasn-"

"-Yes it was lui! I knew the risks and yet I didn't stopped them...I told them not to use that kind of power unless we were in grave danger...I-" Before I could finish what I was going to say two pairs of strong arms grabbed me and held me against there chest, then I saw white wings wrap around us. I had my eyes wide open with the sudden embrace of a hug.

"Evan. Don't blame yourself you would have done the same thing to save them. They knew what was going to happen and yet they took the risk." He sighed and rubbed my back trying to comfort me. I flinched but then settled down "Evan...I think it's time I told you the truth." I looked up and gave a confused look. "There not dead...they figured out how to use the power properly without killing themselves. They told me everything and they knew they had to use it someday, we can bring them back to life but we don't have that kind of power."

My eyes were wide open, as if they were going to pop out. "B-But we can try can't we?"

"Yes, we can but they told me not to save them because someone (not use) would be able to bring them back to life and they said the day is coming...for them to finally come home." Lui smiled and I felt like crying but I held it in, they're still alive, and I was happy.

"Thank you for telling me this Lui it helped me alot." I looked at him and smiled. He brought his hand up and touched my forehead and with that...I saw them, they were right in front of us. Tears began to form on my eyes.
