Chapter 19

Jonathan's POV

"Jonathan!!!!"

"Hmmmm" I groand at the sound of my name being called out.

"We have a big problem. Wake up!!"

"Five more minutes." I mumbled but that didn't stop the person from waking me up, I got hit by a pillow.

"God damit sky what do you want!" I got out of bed and rubbed my eyes. "So what is it you want?"

"Well you see...The uh..statue has been glowing." She mumbled.

"And?" I got up and walked to the closet, going through my clothes.

"We think there's a problem...Jonathan. I have to give you your memories back ple-"

"No sky, I don't want to remember anything just leave it like that. It's for the greater glory." I pulled out a grey sweat pants, a white plain t-shirt, and a blue hoodie. She gave me a sad look. "I'm sorry sky now please let me change."

"Okay" She said boldly and walked out the room, closing the door behind her.

'What is it she wants me to remember anyways?' I thought as I began changing.

'She wants you to remember your parents death and how to make the statue work again so it can kill everyone.'

'But why would sky want that?'

'She is a demon after all, maybe that's why.'

"You know that voice isn't going to help you." Rae said behind the door.

"What do you-"

"Look Jonathan you need your memories to understand we just want what's best for you. We need the real you the one who remembers everything and everyone, mostly ev-"

She couldn't finish what she was going to say due to the ground shaky, uncontrollably. This made the house break in two that I had to jump on the other side since it cracked between where I was standing. 

"Jonathan!" Rae and sky busted through the door. Sky extended her arms as if she was trying to reach me and that's when fire shot up. "Ow!" Rae pulled her back. 

"Sky! Be careful you know you can't touch fire!" I teleported to where they were. "Sky please be careful next time." I patted her head and she gave me a worried look. "What's wrong?"

"I-I'm scared" She started to glow a light blue color and before you know it she turned into a kid again. "Y-you have to help him, h-he's trapped." She pulled on my sweater and began crying.

"What are you talking about sky?" I grabbed her shoulder and she looked at me.

"I-its about that boy, he's in trouble and the world is coming to an end." She pointed outside and what I saw shocked me. Lava was pouring from the cracks of the floor, roots were everywhere even on the buildings. It looked like the end of the world. I kneeled down in front of sky "Sky what are you? Why do you keep on saying those things?" I lifted her chin and made her look at me.

"I-I'm half demon and half angel" She sniffed and wiped the tears from her eye. "And like you said I can't touch fire (which is true) it would kill me, I can see the future as well (well not really but I have these little visions and I have to fill them in). Jonathan, I'm a pure soul meaning my soul hasn't been damaged by evil that's why I can't touch fire." She pulled out a dragon necklace. "You have to remember what you are. I know you don't want to but you have to."

I got up quickly before she placed the necklace on me. "I'm sorry but I don't want to remember anything." When I turned around I was slapped, it stung.
