CHAPTER 10

Evan's POV

"J-Jonathan what's wrong! Say something!" His body was cold and he's eyes were turning into a blue sapphire color and then they started closing. I was crying telling him to wake up.
"Jonathan? No this can't be happening!" I layed him on the floor and sat down and placed him on my lap. I pulled out my phone and dialed 9-11 instantly.

"911. What's your emergency?"

"M-My friend isn't waking up. I don't know what happened he j-just fainted OR something" I panicked into the phone.

"Please s-send an ambulance. Please my friend is dying." I was sobbing into the phone.

"Okay sir please calm down and tell us your location."

"I-It's 1515 Pierre Laporte."

"Okay sir a paramedic is on the way. Please stay on the phone till they get there."

"T-Thank you." I put the phone on speaker and placed it to the side of me. I stroked his hair while crying.

"Jonathan please don't die." I saw his chest rising up and down slowly.

"J-Jonathan? Jonathan!" I was shaking him. I placed my hand on his chest and his heartbeat was slowing down. I grabbed my phone from the floor and started panicking even more.

"My friends heartbeat isn't normal it's slowing down!"

"The paramedics should be arriving soon."

I heard the sirens just around the corner of the street. "I-I see them"

"Okay sir thank you for calling 911" She hung up.

"P-Please wake up jonathan." I hugged him and buried my face into his neck. I was sobbing hoping he would wake up. I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Sir can you please step aside."

I layed him down gently on the floor and I got up and watched. I watched the paramedic feel Jonathan's chest and then he put his ear on his chest.

"We need to get him to the hospital now. I can't feel a heartbeat"

My eyes widen after hearing that. I stood still for a second trying to process what he just said. I snapped out of my thinking and followed the guy into the ambulance. "I'm going along as well. He's my friend"

"Alright sir just sit down and try not to get in the way."

I just sat and watched.

"Everyone move! Make way."

"Sir we need you to wait outside. You can't go any further than this."

"I'm not gonna leave him alone I need to be by his side."

"I'm sorry sir but you need to wait. We'll inform you if anything happens." The door closed on me and I stayed still in one spot.

'How did this happen?' I thought to myself. I sat in the chair against the wall and thought. 'What happened to him? How did that happen to him?' My eyes began to get heavy and with that everything went dark.

"Sir"

"Eeevann. Wake up sleepy head." I heard his sweet soothing voice.

"Sir"

"Come on this would be fun"

He's amazing laugh which is music to my ear.

"Sir!"

I shot my eyes open and saw a nurse in front of me. She had blond hair and hazel eyes. "Are you the boy that is friends with that masked boy" She said in a sweet voice.
