CHAPTER 2

EVAN'S POV.

I was going to walk with the new kid, Jonathan but the teacher had to talk to me since I was talking in class.

After she was done I was now heading to my next class but I see a crowd of kids in the middle of the hallway. I was curious as to what was happening so I went to the crowd and asked one of the kids

"What's going on?"

"Nanners and his group are beating up a kid, I don't know who the kid is though."

I wasn't surprised when I heard Nanners name since him and his group are always picking a fight with other students. He also gets mad really quick, let's just say he has anger issues.

I pushed my way through the crowd of kids to see who his victim or the person that pissed him off was.

Nanners had his back facing me, he has someone pinned up against the wall.

"You better watch where you're going freak".

Who is he calling a freak?

He then punches the person and he falls to the ground and that's when I saw who it was...Jonathan. I got mad I don't know why.

"NANNERS LEAVE HIM ALONE!"

What am I doing I shouldn't be involved in this but I got so mad when I saw Jonathan on the floor.

"If it isn't Mr. Popular kid getting into something he shouldn't be getting into. You should be in class Mr. Good boy"

"SHUT UP! And get away from him"

I was starting to get mad at him now.

"OR WHAT!? You can't do nothing about it, you never did nothing about it and now you're protecting him!?"

"But I always protect my friends and he's my friend!"

I just met him today and I already called him my friend.

I don't know why but I started to get really mad at him so I grabbed him by the neck and punched him on the cheek so hard that I knocked him out.

"Like I said he's my friend and I protect my friends so STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"

I went to Jonathan and picked him up.

"Are you okay dude"

"Y-Y-Yeah"

"There's some blood on your neck. Come on I'll take you to the nurse to have it get checked"

"NO"

"Alright then at least go clean it up. I'll take you to the bathroom to clean it up."

He just nodded and we left before the teachers and the principle came.

When we got to the bathroom he immediately ran and locked the door.

"What duh...Rude much Jonathan?"

I didn't hear him reply all I heard was the water running meaning he was cleaning himself up. So I waited until he came out.

I was sitting on the floor when I heard a voice.

"I'm sorry"

I looked up and saw Jonathan all cleaned up. He had his head down when he said sorry but why?

"Why are you being sorry?"

"Because you had to help me...I could've handled it myself."

"Don't be sorry it's alright and really? Cause it seemed like you were getting your ass kicked really bad."

"I know...but you didn't have to help out someone like me. You're popular and I'm not popular plus I'm not your friend, I hardly know you and we just meet today"

That's right I just meet him today and I already called him my friend why did I even say that...but still I actually want to be friends with him I don't know why but I sense something special in him.

"Who say's a popular kid can't be friends with someone like you?" I say smiling.

He lifts his head up and tilts it to the side in confusion.

"So Jonathan I have a question for you."

"Umm... okay"

"How would you like to be my friend?" I reach out my hand hoping he would shake it and say yes.

"WAIT....WHAT!? You're asking me to become your friend? But I'm just a nobody. I'm just a....freak." He mumbled the last part but I heard it.

"Jonathan you're not a freak. Just because you wear a mask doesn't mean you're a freak. I think there is someone cool under that mask but you're afraid to show your shelf because you feel like you would get rejected."

"Thank you umm..."

"Evan" I say

"Right, but what would people think? I don't want to ruin your popularity."

"Jonathan who cares what people think they can't choose who I can hang out with"

"Why are you doing this Evan?"

"Because I want to be your friend, I want to get to know you better also I sense something special in you...not in a gay way though" I chuckled at the last part and I made him chuckle also.

"But there's nothing special about me I'm just a nobody, a freak that no one likes and I'm a fr-"

"JONATHAN you're not a freak and I'm not everyone, I don't call you a freak I think you're pretty cool.

"So let me ask you again, how would you like to be my friend?" 

Sorry for not publishing the 2nd story to who ever is reading this. It was kinda hard making the 2nd chapter since I didn't know how it was going to end or what was going to happen but now I know, sorry it's kinda short. Also I didn't have internet for a couple of days so I had to go to a friends house for internet so sorry about that. Also I might put up the 3nd chapter today, if not today tomorrow. Anyways I'm sorry again for the long wait but I'll make it up to you all or who ever is reading this by making two chapters in one day. Thank you to who ever is reading this and I'll talk to you in the next chapter
