Chapter Four

♡Darcy Winters♡

Work was the usual, Peter and I bickered a good amount of the time while we had to bathe several animals. Nothing super special. Once my shift had ended I took out my phone to check it, and smiled when I saw a text from Jessica:

from: jessicatheawesome~

hey!

my parents gave me the okay!

you never told me what time you got off work, so tell me when you're on your way!

my address is: 3458 cherry grove

to: jessicatheawesome~

yayayayyayayayay!!!!!

I just got off and I'm heading over now.

WE WILL HAVE A BLAST

I hit send and pulled my car keys out of my pocket. I threw my bag in the back seat as I got into my car, "I need a ride home." Peter made me jump, "Holyshet, youcan'tdothatIwasabouttokickyourass." I breathed trying my best to slow my heartbeat down. I hated getting scared. I wasn't easily intimidated, but if you forced me to watch a scary movie I wouldn't be able to sleep for a month. "Sorry, didn't mean to make the wittle baby wamb scream." He teased poking my nose laughing.

"I hate you. What street do you live on?" I asked as we left the parking lot, "What happened to your ride anyway?" I asked, glancing over at him. "Well I let my brother took my car cause he had to go pick up his girlfriend, and my bike is at my house." I didn't look, but I could imagine that annoying cocky smirk he wore. "And you couldn't call your parents?" I asked slightly annoyed.

☢Peter Graves☢

She was too easy to annoy, "Well, I could have, but you are so much more fun to spend time with." I teased, "I live in, Cherry Grove." I answered her question and I heard her sigh in relief, "Why? Do we live on the same street?" I asked smirking, "No, thankfully, I live on the next street over. I'm picking up Jessica. We're having a girls night." She told me, without taking her eyes off of the road. I couldn't help but stare at her.

She looked like any ordinary girl, but something unusual about her drew me towards her. No, I didn't have "feelings" for her, but I did want to get into her pants. "Which house?" Her voice broke into my thoughts, "Which house is yours?" she asked me again, "Are you just trying to get my house address so you can watch me sleep at night?" I couldn't help but tease her, "You are seriously, impossible." She huffed, "I know, that's why you want me isn't it?" I wiggled my eyebrows when she looked over at me, "Yeah right, in your dreams." She said shaking her head.

"Get in the back."

"What?"

"I need you to get in the back, because Jessica is going to sit up front with me."

"That's no fun."

"I don't care, go."

"Fineeeee." I whined, but of course I had to make it difficult and instead of just getting out, I climbed over the center console to get into the back, "Are you kidding me, Peter! You are the most impossible person in the world!" I heard her yell at me and laughed, "You give me the best compliments." I answered after I had gotten into the back.

"You give me the best compliments." I ignored his comment and smiled waving at Jessica, "Hey girl! We have to make one small stop before we hit my house." I explained, "That's fine, where are we-" "Hello there again Jessica." Peter cut her off making her jump, "ohmygod!" She squealed, I sighed, "Peter, you are an asshole." I said ass I pulled out of Jessica's drive way. "That isn't very nice, Darcy." "I don't care, now which house is yours?" I asked looking back at him through my rear view mirror. "5014." I had been expecting a smart-ass answer, that had been the most straight forward answer he had given me all day.
