Chapter 7 The Ball?!

Lucy's P.O.V

Again, today I'm in the forest talking to Natsu and Happy. I sneaked out of the mansion. " So are you coming to the mask ball on my birthday? " Natsu asked me.

" The mask ball? " I asked.

" Yeah, didn't you hear about it? You have to come! " He begged.

" Well, I don't know if I should go. Queen Titania might get m- " I said, but then I got interrupted.

" Please come! It won't be the same without you! Please! " He begged.

" OK, fine! I'll go! " I said.

" Yay! " Then Natsu gave Happy a high-five.

" But, Queen Titania might get mad at me. Just saying. "

" Why? " Happy asked.

" Ever since we got that letter about that ball, she's been acting a little bit weird. And plus, she doesn't want me to go. " I replied.

" Well, maybe we'll talk to her and she will probably let you go to the ball. " Natsu said.

" What?! No, you can't do that! " I yelled.

" What?! Why?! " He asked.

" Because.... "

~Flashback~

" Lucy!!!!! " He yelled.

" Natsu!!! " I yelled.

But we got taken away from each other.

~Back To The Present~

What I didn't know, was that I was crying.

" Lucy... " Natsu said, I started to cry even more. Then Natsu gave me a hug.

" I'm sorry Lucy. I didn't mean to. I was just trying to help you. Your my best friend, so I wanna do what I'm supposed to do as your best friend. But I understand that you don't wanna get in trouble. Sorry Lucy. " Natsu said.

Then I heard this voice in my head say...

" Don't worry Lucy! I'm sure that we'll meet again! I know we will! "

Who was that?! That voice sounded familiar. Was it him?!

" Lucy, are you feeling better now? " Natsu asked me.

I looked at him and said, " Yeah, I'm fine now because I know you'll stand by me. "

He smiled. There was still some tears in my eyes, so Natsu wiped them away for me.

" Now let's go fishing! " Happy said, holding a fish rod.

" OK! " I smiled.

" Yeah, great idea Happy! Wanna come Lucy? " Natsu asked.

" Um, sure. " I said, as I followed Natsu and Happy to the river.

Then we sat there, Natsu and Happy were fishing, while me on the other hand, was watching them.

" I'm so hungry!!!! " Happy yelled.

Then Natsu finally caught a fish and it was HUGE.

" Now, let's eat! " Natsu said, smiling.

" Don't cook it! I like my fish raw! " Happy yelled.

" OK, fine! " Then Natsu gave half of the fish to Happy.

" Do you want some Lucy? Don't worry, I'll cook it. " Natsu asked.

" Um, I don't really like fish...so... " I said.

Then Natsu came up to me and said, " Open your mouth. "

" What? " Then he feed me the fish.

I swallowed it and then I yelled, " What was that for Natsu?! I told you that I don't want fish! "

" But, do you like it? I meant the fish by the way. " He said.

" Oh, I guess it was good. " I replied.

He smiled. But, why fish? I never met anybody who is so crazy about food, except for these two.

It was already 11:20 and I told Natsu that I gotta go.

" Natsu, I gotta go! See ya! " I said, as I ran out of the forest.

" Bye Lucy! " I'm guessing that was Natsu.

" Bye! " For sure that was Happy.

I soon as I entered the mansion, Queen Titania was there.

" Oh, Queen Titan- " I said, but then I got interrupted.

" Where were you Lucy? " She asked.

" Oh me?! I was outside, gardening. " I replied.

" Is that so? When I went outside to check, you weren't there. " Then she walked behind me.

" Maybe I was in a different spot. " I said.

" I know your lying to me. Don't ever make that mistake again. You got that?! " She yelled.

" Yes, Queen Titania. "

" Good. " Then she left.

I took a deep breath in and then I exhaled. That was close. Then I went into the kitchen to prepare lunch.

" What are we gonna have for lunch? " Princess Minerva asked.

" Well, I was thinking of making some macaroni and cheese. What do you think? " I asked.

" That sounds good! So make it quick. " Then she left.

I wonder if I should go to the ball. Should I or should I not? Ughhhhhhh. This is like the hardest decision I ever made in my life! Maybe I should put that aside for now.

~Chapter 8 - A Dress For The Ball - Preview~

" Lucy, your coming to my ball, right? " Natsu asked me.

" Well, yeah. Why? " I asked.

" Because today, I'm gonna take you in my castle and my maids can find or make a dress for you. You okay with that, Lucy? " Natsu asked.

" Yeah, I guess. " Then he grabbed my hand and we both started running.

" Wait! " I yelled.

" Don't worry, leave everything to me Princess Lucy. "
