Chapter 25 The Prince & I

Lucy's P.O.V

Now, I can finally go to the ball and I'll be able to meet Natsu... Again... A smile went over my face. " Here you go, Miss.Lucy. " The guy or should I say the mice said, opening the door for me. I nodded. As I was about to go inside the carriage, I turned around to see if Wendy and Carla were still there. And they were. " Aren't you guys coming? " I asked. 

" Well... " Wendy began to say. 

" Wendy, you forgot to tell her the important details! " Carla yelled. 

" Oh, yes! Oops! I forgot. Okay, I'll come with you Lucy and I'll tell you the important details on the way to the castle. " I nodded, as I entered the carriage, Wendy and Carla following behind me. As the driver took as to the castle, Wendy was explaining the important details to me. 

" Okay, you got to remember this, when the clock hits 12:00, the magic well slowly disappear and everything will go back the way it was. So you better leave the castle before 12:00, okay? "

" *Hai... (Yes...) " I replied. 

" And also, promise me this...you have to dance with Prince Natsu. " Wendy said, pointing her finger at me. 

I blushed and asked, " But-! Why?! " 

" You like him, right? " She asked me. 

" As a friend, yeah. " I replied. 

" Is that the truth? " 

" Well... " I began to say. My cheeks are now as red as a cherry tomato. 

" You love him don't ya? " 

" I do not! " I yelled. 

" Just admit it! I know that deep in your heart you truly love him. You just don't believe it. Just accept the fact that you love him... Lucy... " She said, her arms folded. 

" Okay, fine! Whatever. " I said. 

" Say it! " Wendy yelled. 

" Say what?! " I asked. 

" Say, ' I-LOVE-NATSU '. " 

" But-But-But-! "

" No but's and no stuttering either. Also, say it like you really mean it. Or else, I'll use my magic and make everything go back the way it was before. So say it! " 

" *Sigh* ...I love Natsu...There I said it, happy? " I said, blushing. 

" Yes, very happy! " Wendy said, smiling. 

" Okay! We're here! " Yelled the driver. 

" It looks like we're here. Have fun! And make sure you leave before 12:00. Oh, here. A mask. Since this is a Mask Ball you can't go without a mask. " Wendy said, handing me the mask. 

" Okay, thank you. " I said, grabbing it and putting it on. 

" It was nice meeting you Lucy! Have fun! " Wendy said smiling. 

" Thank...you... " As soon as I closed my eyes and opened them again, Wendy and Carla were no longer there. I smiled and said in my head, ' Thank you for everything. ' 

The driver opened the door for me and said, " Have fun! " I smiled and nodded as I got out of the carriage. " Thank you! " I said, smiling. 

He nodded as he closed the door behind. I looked at the beautiful castle standing right in front of me. I miss this place. This brings back so many memories. And also...painful memories. As I walked over to the door one of the guards stopped me, " Excuse me Miss, are you here for the Prince's 19 Birthday and the Mask Ball? "
