Chapter 26 The Dance With The Prince

Lucy's P.O.V

" So, would you like to dance with me? " Natsu asked me, as he held out his hand. I stared at him, in shock. What should I say? Should I say yes? Wait, wait! Maybe he mistaken me for someone else. Why me? 

" Ah...why me of all people? " I asked. 

" Why wouldn't it be you?! I mean, you mean a lot to me. More than you can ever imagine. " He replied, with a big smile on his face. I blush at what he said. 

" So... " He began to say, his hand still waiting for me to hold it. 

I look at the crowd. They all had smiles on their faces and I can here someone in the back say, " Come on! Just say yes already! " I'm not sure if I should say yes or no. And does he really think of me like that? Do I really mean something to him? Maybe...I should say... 

" Yes! Prince Natsu, I would love to dance with you. " I said, putting my hand in his. He held my hand, and I held his. And together we both went to the center of the party room/ball room. Classic music started. The crowd disappeared and people went in pairs and joined me and Natsu on the dance floor. Then Mira started singing. Her voice was so beautiful.

I put my hands around his neck and he put his hands on my hips. My heart starts racing as I stare at his face. My face starts heating up and then I looked away from him. I admit...I am in love with him...after all...we've been through many things together....

Levy's P.O.V

I was standing by the refreshment table, watching everyone dancing with a partner. It must be nice to have a Soul Mate, huh? All of a sudden, a guy with a mask, spiky black hair, and he was wearing a black tux came up to me and said, " Excuse me, Miss, would you like to dance with me? "

" ...May I know your name? " I asked. 

" I can't say. "

" Why not? " I asked, confused. 

" Maybe after we dance then I'll tell you. " He replied.

" *Sigh* Fine! But just this once. " I said, as he took my hand and he lead me to the dance floor. 

I'm not sure who this is...but...I feel like...I've seen and met this person before. But who and when? His voice sounds familiar too. Maybe, he is Gajeel. No, no. It can't be him. I mean, he still hasn't come back from his journey. Plus, there is now way he can be here. But I wish it was him...

Gray's P.O.V

Why did I even go to this moron's birthday ball thing...?! I was sitting at an empty table, drinking a glass of water. Everyone is dancing and I don't think that I'm good at dancing anyways. Plus, I don't even have a partner. Then across the room, I saw Juvia sitting at an empty table, by herself. Maybe I should ask her to dance. So I placed my drink on the table and I headed over to Juvia.
