Chapter 28 I Love You & The Happily Ever After

Lucy's P.O.V

 Then all of a sudden, I hear someone calling out to me, " Lucy? Is that you? " The voice sounded familiar, but who was it? I turned around to face that person. Then at the other side of the path, I saw a boy with pink spiky hair, a white scarf with black lines, a Prince's Uniform/Clothes. He even had a shocked look on his face. My eyes widen. " N-Natsu, is that you? " I asked, in shock. Many people passed in between us. Then a light summer breeze passed by. My hair started flowing with the wind. Same with Natsu's hair and scarf. Maybe Fate has decided this...maybe...maybe not...

We both didn't say a word. Then we walked over to each other. I looked at him in the eye. " So how a- " Then he interrupted me. 

" I love you. " His words made me blush. He was also blushing. 

" W-Why would you say that out of no-nowhere? " I asked.

" Well, I don't know if this is the last time that I'll see you, so I rather say it now than later. " He replied. 

" Did you get my letter? " He asked me. I looked away. My bangs covered my eyes and I replied, " Yeah. "

" Then how come you didn't write back?  " He asked me. 

" Well, I...tried...but I wasn't able to give it to you... " I explained,  " Because...I just can't... " I replied, without giving him any eye contact.

" So, what's the answer? " He asked me. 

" To what? " 

" Do you love me? "

My face turned as red as a tomato. " Well...y-yes. I love you too...N-Natsu. "

Then he hugged me. I hugged him back. I smiled. " I'm so glad that I got to see you again. " Natsu said. 

" Me too. " I also said.  

~1 Week Later...~

Natsu told his Father that he wanted to marry me and I was there with him. His Father approved and King Igneel said that I have to sign a lot a paper's. Also, I have to be trained to become a Princess and that I can live at the castle. So I went back home and Queen Titania, Princess Lisanna and Princess Minerva seemed really mad. They must have heard the news. I sighed as I walked passed them. I walked up to my room and I got out my luggage. I took out my drawer's and I grabbed all my clothes. Even in my closet. I took the picture frame's of my family (When my mom and dad were still alive). I took everything I had and I put in my luggage. After that, I closed the luggage and I left my room. I closed the door and I headed down the stairs. Queen Titania, Princess Lisanna, and Princess Minerva were waiting for me. But, why? I walked over to them and Queen Titania came up to me, " Lucy, I'm really sorry for everything. This time, I'll act like a proper mom to you. Again, I'm so sorry. You don't have to call me Queen Titania anymore. Just call me, mom. If that's okay with you? " I nodded. 

Then Princess Lisanna walked up to me and said, " Lucy, I'm so sorry about what happened in the past. I hope that you can forgive me? You can just call me Lisanna or sister if you like. " I nodded. 

" Yeah, were all really sorry. By the way, call me Minerva. " 

" Thank you. And yes, I forgive you all. Well, I guess this is good bye. Thank you for everything. " I said. 

Before I left, Queen Titania, or should I say, mom was calling out to me. " Lucy! Wait! Your dad wanted me to give this to you. He told me to give you this when you decide to leave the mansion. It's a letter from your true mom. " She handing me the letter. I took it and said, " Oh, thank you! Bye! " I smiled as I left.
