Chapter Nine

We were all sitting on the couch, most likely thinking about what just happened. I was still a little upset about the whole situation but I guess shit happens.

"Soooooo are we still going to the store or not?" Mani said.

"I forgot all about that. Yeah let's go." I said getting up and stretching.

"You sure you cool A, cause we don't really need to go" Shak said, sounding worried.

"I'm good. I'm fine." I said walking towards the door.

"Okay. Just know if I need to beat any ass, I will." Shak said walking behind me.

"Awwww your so sweet boo" I said turning around and pinching his cheeks.

"Yeah yeah yeah bitch now get yo ass in the car." He said. I rolled my eyes laughing.

"How rude" I laughed walking out of the door.

When we walked out I saw Chasen sitting on the hood of his car with his some of his brothers and a couple of other boys laughing and talking. I heard someone calling my name repetitively and super loud. I looked away from the car and searched for the voice yelling my name. It was Chai yelling and waving her hand and walking over to us.

"Heeeey guys" She said when she finally got to us.

"Hey Lee boo" Shakur said, as she hugged us all.

"Where you guys headed?" She asked.

"We bout to go stack up on some more snacks for our little sleepover." Mani said.

"You guys are having a sleepover and didnt tell me? My feelings are hurt." She said putting her hand on her heart and making a sad face.

"Chai you have your own party going on!!! How we gone invite you to ours." I said.

"This isn't my party. At first Chasen and Chad invited a couple of people to just hang.But I guess the word got out and now everywhere I look its somebody. I don't even like half of these people and if that bitch Alexis come at me from the side of her neck again I will go to jail." She said looking up at the sky like she was asking god for strength.

"She came for you too?" Armani said.

"Yeah. That hoe don't understand she at my house. She always trynna run something like she my fucking mama. Just cause she fucking my brother don't mean she fucking me. She not even the main chick, and no matter how hard she tries its never gonna happen. I'm just so sick of that hoe." Chai ranted on and on. We laughed at her.

"What?" She said.

"Girl you need to get out more than us. Come on you can roll with us. When you come back you can get your clothes and come back over here." Shakur said. Me and Mani nodded our heads in agreement and we all walked to the car.

I felt eyes on me. I knew who it was, but I wasn't about to look over there. Chasen has me fucked up on so many different levels tonight. I just don't want to deal with our situation anymore for right now.

We got in the car and we went to a grocery store then we went to 7/11.

"Guys let's go to the liquor store right around the corner." Chai said.

"There's a liquor store around the corner?" Shak asked.

"Yes... Me and my brothers use to walk there all the time. That liquor store has everything." She said.

Shak nodded his head and drove to the liquor store. We pulled into the parking lot and went into the liquor store. Chai started grabbing at stuff like it was nothing. She had all type of candy and chips. Armani grabbed a while bunch of Reece's and I Shak grabbed snickers. I grabbed some kitkats, twix, and twizzlers which I'm surprised they had because liquor stores I've been to never had twizzlers.
