Chapter Twenty-Three

It was the week before Thanksgiving and my Mom made the decision that we were going out to my Father's to spend Thanksgiving with him. I asked my Mom if it was OK for me to take Shak and Mani and she said I could only take one. So I decided that I wanted Shak to go. I feel like if I needed anyone to throw some emergency shade it would be him.

"I'm just saying it doesn't make sense to take the test when we come back and she know damn well we not gone study for it. I mean it's not like I need to study that much, but still." Shak was complaining about his our English teacher giving us a vocabulary test when we come back from Thanksgiving Break.

"Ya'll worried about the wrong stuff. We need to be complaining about why they even had us come to school this week and we only have to be here for three days." Chasen said.

"Babe they have to or we're gonna have more days added next year before we get out for summer break." I said eating a fry from his Wendy's bag.

"I understand that baby, that doesn't change the fact that we're here for three days." He said rolling his eyes.

"Awww big baby. You just hate school don't you." I said making a pouty face and pinching his cheeks. The face he made, made me laugh and let go of his face.

"Ain't shit funny A" He said turning his face away from me.

"Baby I sowry" I said in a baby voice grabbing his face and bringing it to mines so I could kiss his lips.

"Mhm I forgive you." He said kissing me again, and biting my lip a little.

If this boy don't stop

"So Angel. You know Philip is back." Alexis said. Me, Shak, and Armani looked at her like BITCH. 

"Who is Philip?" Chasen asked looking at me and eating another one of his fries.

"Uhm. Uh. Philip is someone who use to go here." I said shrugging my shoulders and taking another one of his fries.

"He sounds more important than just someone who use to go here." Chasen said looking at Alexis then back at me.

"Oh him and Angel use to be together." Alexis said smirking. I just looked at her.

"Bitch why are you even here?" Shak and Armani said at the same time. I laughed a little because it wasn't even a planned thing.

"Because this is a free country-" She started but Shak didn't let her finish.

"Bitch bullshit. Take your happy ass on somewhere and shut the hell up." Shak said waving her off with his hand and going back to eating his chicken nuggets.

"Well I just felt like Chasen needed to know about his little girlfriend and her past relationships that I'm sure she didn't tell him about." She said smirking and looking at Chasen.

"Do you ever give up?" Armani said making Alexis look at her confused.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"The boy doesn't want you anymore so why do you keep trying. Just give up and go find someone else to suck on." Armani said.

Alexis rolled her eyes and got up from the table and went somewhere else. Who knows and who cares. As long as she left cause she just can't let shit go and I wasn't ready to tell Chasen about Philip but knowing Chasen the whole thing will be on his mind until he knows the whole story with no details left out.

"So who is this Philip guy exactly." Chasen said leaning on the table and folding his arms looking at me.

"He's nobody Chasen. Seriously." I said then ate more of his fries.
