Chapter Fifteen

"Imma drop y'all as my friends for real." Armani said.

We were currently in the guest room cause the curtains in my room were wide open and all of us were scared to go close them. Especially after the whole knock knock fiasco.

"Why you dropping us. It wasn't anyone at the door. Dead ass." Shak said. After the knock we waited for like a good 30 seconds to go answer. I opened the door and Shak was right behind me, but no one was at the door. Now we all spooked.

"Maybe you got ghost or something Angel." Shak said after we all sat and thought about it.

"Shak shut up. You know damn well we ain't got ghost. If we did what was we gone do call ghostbusters." I said with an attitude.

"No we gone call that one old lady from insidious. And we gone call the lady from the conjuring. Cause if you got some spirits they damn sho gone get rid of them and some more stuff." He said. We all laughed at him cause he's a hot ass mess.

"Look we got school tomorrow. I think we should just crash right here and go to school together. I don't wanna go home that's for damn sure." Chai said.

"I think mom should be getting in, in a little while. Unless she stay with Troy." I said.

"Ummmm who is Troy?" Armani said scrunching up her face.

"Oh you ain't know. Mama got her a little boyfriend and he be putting all the moves on her. Honey his act right got her acting right." Shak said. I just shook my head. I can't deal.

"Shak. We discussed your mouth earlier. Please." I said.

"What! its the truth." Shak said.

"Yeah but that's Mama you talking about. We don't want to know that she getting the... Ugh! I cant even." Armani said putting her hands over her eyes.

"I don't think I'm gonna be able to look at your mom the same." Chai laughed.

"See Shak look at what you did. Chai barely met my mama and you already got her looking bad."

"Look at least she not a cougar. Cause y'all would've really been dead if she would've pulled that." Shak said.

"How do you know about Troy anyway?" Armani said.

"Girl I know about everything. I'm like an owl. You don't see me but I see you and I hear you too." He said. We all stopped and gave him the straight face, then started laughing.

"Shak shut yo stupid ass up." Armani said shaking her head.

"Naw but she texted me and she was suppose to be texting him. Outta nowhere she was like "so what time we going out tonight?"...I looked at my phone then my calendar then back at the text like what. So I was like ummm Mama I don't remember us planning anything today. Girl you could feel her panic attack through the phone. She told me the text was meant for somebody else. I was like mhm. Ever since then I just knew she had her a little boo." Shak said. He is just so dramatic.

"Hmm....I wonder where they met." Armani said putting her finger under her chin.

"I haven't had time to do my background check on him yet." I said taking my phone off of my charger.

"You seriously do background checks on the people your moms is seeing?" Chai said looking crazy. We looked at her like she was crazy.

"Girl we all do. We gotta make sure Mama not with no fubu ass nigga." Shak said.

"Woooow. Do y'all do checks on the people y'all dating." Chai said. She had a smirk on her face so we knew she was playing.

"Oooooh Chai you tried it. Yo little boo ain't too much on the sane side either. Got us thinking Angel got ghost and shit. We should've done a BC on him." Shak said.

"I was just saying. Maybe y'all need to start doing checks for y'all too. Cause y'all got coo coo nest niggas." Chai said laughing. We all stopped and looked at her.

"Chai....what the hell is a coo coo nest nigga." Armani said sitting up.

"A coo coo nest nigga is-" And she was interrupted by her phone ringing. She looked at it, laughed, and turned her phone to us.

"This is a coo coo nest nigga." She said. It was her boyfriend. Or whatever the hell they are.

"Oooooooh. We all said." She laughed and answered the phone.

"Put it on speaker." Shak nosey ass whispered. She put it on speaker and immediately there was talking and you could here people talking all loud in the background.

"Yo Chai where the fuck you at." He yelled through the phone.  You can tell he wasn't from here cause he got a little country accent.

"Ooooh that's great. He's a crazy country nigga." Shak whispered and rolled his eyes.

"I'm at a friends house. Why." She said with an attitude.

"Aye take all that tude out ya voice when ya speakin' ta me. You know the drill" He said. I think we all rolled our eyes at what he just said.

Chai looked at the phone like who the fuck, then she hung up. In his face. I think he was still talking too.

"Well better you than me, cause I was close to hanging up the phone too." Shak said.

"I'm going to sleep. I can't continue to deal tonight." I said laying down.
