~Michael's POV
*2 months later

"Come on MJ, you were supposed to be up an hour ago.." I hear a light female voice say. It was Karen, she's the only one allowed to see me like this. She's like a best friend. She draws back my room curtain allowing the sunlight to shine in.

The morning sun rays hit my eyes harsher than usual after waking up from what felt like death. I could barely open my eyes and attempted to lift my head that felt 15 pounds heavier. I felt sunken into my mattress, not wanting to move one muscle that, I must say, given the side effects, were completely relaxed.

Realizing the love of my life wasn't beside me caused me to give a long sigh, pushing myself off the bed and my feet onto the floor to face another day alone.

"Come on, you can do it." Karen giggles.

"Here we go" I grumble out of my tired lips, dragging my feet to the bathroom. I see myself and run my fingers through my ragged unkempt hair.

I hear my pill bottle rattle to the floor before hearing Karen suck her teeth. "Mike I really don't think you should be taking these everyday.. And so many at a time.."

"I'll be fine, I've been taking them for two months. I need them to sleep." I groan.

"Fine, fine.. We don't have to fight about this." Karen surrenders.

I take a breath of relief, I was not willing to fight her about my medicine usage every morning "Karen?" I call out.

"Yeah mike?"

"My hair is gonna be a task today." I groan running my fingers through my hair again.

"I'm sure it won't be that bad." She chuckle through the closed door.

After a long shower, I appear back out the bathroom, my soaked hair drenching the collar of my shirt.

"Oh boy you weren't kidding." She laughs as she begins working on my hair. "How's the married life treating ya'?" She asks.

"I love it, marrying Rayne was the smartest decision I've ever made. She really completed me." I smile.

"She's a great girl Mike, you guys have so much love for one another, it's beautiful. And you've known her since you were 19?"

"Yeah it's crazy right. 15 years almost. Who would've thought.."

"Aww. Love" Karen swoons.

"Would you ever get married Karen?" I ask.

"If I find the right guy.. But for now I'm ok." She shrugs. "All done." She says, packing away her make up and hair materials. As always Karen works miracles for me. I thank her and head out with Leroy to the truck, screaming fans surround the car. I simply lean against the window.

"You know sometimes I feel like I'm in a fishbowl. It's so sweet for all of these people to feel how they feel about me but, how does one person cause so much chaos?" I shake my head.

"It's the mystery of you Michael. Nobody knows a lot about you and it's interesting." Leroy explains driving.

"Well it's kind of annoying." I sigh.
