"Hey, I'm gonna go to the park and see if Timmy's alright. He's been gone for a while," Specs told Jack as he walked out the door.

Specs walked over the bridge to go to the park when he noticed something in the water. A tiny crutch was caught on some rocks.

Specs backed away from the edge in shock and cupped a hand over his mouth. "Oh my gosh," he muttered as he ran back to the lodge.

Tears in his eyes, he burst through the door and everyone stared at him with deep concern.

"Specs, what happened?" Asked Jack.

"I found Timmy's crutch on some rocks."

"And?"

"At the bottom of the bridge."

Everyone was dead silent.

"Did you see Timmy?" Asked a choked up Turtle.

"No, but I bet his body is halfway to the sea by now," replied Specs.

Crutchie excused himself from the room and went outside. He couldn't handle much sadness in his life.

"Let's look around just to make sure," suggested Jack.

The rest of the guys got ready to go out and look for Timmy.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Crutchie had wandered to the bridge and looked down over the edge. Sure enough, Timmy's little crutch was down on some rocks.

Jack had been watching him for some time. Just as he was about to walk over to Crutchie, Crutchie's arm started to twitch a bit. Jack walked over much faster, and Crutchie's twitch went up him arm to his shoulder.

Crutchie finally lost all control and he fell to the ground. His crutch rolled over the edge of the bridge.

"Crutchie!" Jack screamed, now running over to his friend's aid.

"J-jack?"

"Are you ok? You could have just fallen over the bridge!"

"I'm f-fine."

"Let's go back to the lodge."

"Um I k-kind of n-need that," he said, pointing down to his crutch, which had fallen on the same set of rocks as Timmy's.

"Right. I'll go get it."

Jack carefully walked down around the bridge down the river bank. The crutches were about 15 feet from the shore line, so Jack had to swim out and get them. Once he got the crutches and went back up, Crutchie was no where to be seen. The only sign he could find was one of Crutchie's shoes floating down the river.
