Sorry I haven't updated in a while. I have 4 or 5 auditions and one interview in the next 2 weeks so I've been trying to prepare for those.

Just as Jack went down to get the crutches, the Delanceys came up behind Crutchie.

"This must be crip central, Morris," said Oscar.

They grabbed a terrified Crutchie and tried to drag him away from the ledge. Oscar had a hand over Crutchie's mouth so he couldn't scream. Morris grabbed Crutchie's bad leg and dragged him a few feet until Crutchie kicked him in the nuts with his good leg. As he kicked him, Morris ripped Crutchie's shoe off and it fell over the edge.

As Crutchie was being dragged away, by his good leg this time, he saw Jack coming up the bank with the crutches.

"J-jack!" He tried to scream, but it only came out as a soft whisper.

"Shut up, Crip!" Oscar harshly grunted. He punched him in the head with his brass knuckles and Crutchie was out.

Crutchie woke up next to Timmy. Timmy was passed out and his wrists were covered in cuts and dried blood. Crutchie crawled over to Timmy and held him on his lap. His bad leg was hurting worse than it had in years. He started to sob, not because of his leg, but because Timmy had warned him that this might happen. He had said that he'd rather die than get caught.

Crutchie mustered up all of his strength and pulled Timmy off of him. He dragged himself over to where the window used to be. He sat on the edge of the window, ready to jump, until a a soft whisper sounded from behind him.

"Crutchie?"

"T-timmy! D-don't ever scare m-me like that again!" He said as he turned around to look at Timmy.

A faint "Crutchie?" Came from outside of the building.

"J-jack?" Replied Crutchie.

"Crutchie! Are you ok? What happened?"

"H-hurry up here. T-timmy is hurt b-bad."

"Timmy?"

"H-he's up h-here! N-now hurry!

Jack ran up to where the boys were. He ran and hugged Crutchie.

"Here's your shoe by the way. It's a bit wet."

Jack got down and helped him put his shoe back on. It didn't really seem to fit. He handed Crutchie his crutch and helped him to his feet. His limp was noticably worse.

Jack went over to Timmy and put him over his shoulder. Then he went and put Crutchie's arm around his other shoulder and slowly helped him down the stairs. They made their way back to the lodge very slowly.
