Blue sky had always managed to calm Akita down. Apparently, though, that was not the case for that particular day. Akita kept feeling restless all day for no reason. Nothing could distract him from the discomfort he was experiencing.

But of course he didn't show it to anyone, including Hakata. He knew Hakata had enough of problems to take care of, he didn't have the heart to add new concerns for his King. He sighed, standing in front of the window in his room when Hakata walked in and called him over.

"Akita."

The young Queen swiftly turned to face the bespectacled man.

"It's rather sudden but I have something I must deal with in the Kingdom of Diamonds. It's not that far so I think I will be back quickly."

Letting his King went out when he had this bad feeling going on? Of course Akita wouldn't want him to go. Mikazuki had told him before, that sometimes people needed to trust what their instincts told them. That was exactly what Akita was planning to do.

"What is your business there?"

"As of now, Kingdom of Diamonds doesn't have strong enough force for its defense. For the sake of keeping the peace in case there's problem appearing, our kingdom is to lend them a hand. There will be some kind of a pact that surely will gain us some profits in the future..." Hakata grinned. "So yeah, there's a need of a little bit preparation for it, like talking to the Queen of Diamonds, nothing really serious."

"Then, I should go in your place."

"Akita, what are you saying?"

"I just want to take few burden off your shoulder. You have worked enough these months, so you should take a rest for a couple of days and stay in the kingdom. I don't want you to leave," Akita persuaded, mumbling his next words, "Especially these days..."

"'These days'?" Hakata raised an eyebrow, noticing his Queen's subtle anxiety from his voice. "Akita, is something bugging you these past few days?"

"No." Akita quickly hid behind a mask and smiled his usual smile. He had decided to conceal anything that could make Hakata even more burdened. "Everything is great as usual. It's just that I really want to help you..."

Hakata was confused. One point he sensed something not right with Akita but then his Queen showed no sign of fault the next second. However, he believed Akita would eventually tell him if there really was something wrong so he shrugged it off.

"This is the first time you actually ask for something pretty obstinately. If you really want to do it, then I have no reason to forbid you." Hakata smiled down to the younger man and gently patted him. "All right. You can go in my place. I have told Atsu to finish the preparation as soon as possible. Your departure will be tomorrow. I will stay here as per your request."

"Yes, thank you."

"And since you have your request, it's my turn now."

Hakata moved closer to his Queen, leaning down as he encircled his arms around that slender waist. His smile was cheery and happy that Akita wouldn't even want to get away from the close embrace for eternity.

"I want my recharge!"

"Of course you do." Akita chuckled sheepishly.

"And not just a kiss. You won't be here tomorrow so double the energy."

Akita blinked several times. Before he got to say anything, Hakata already picked him up and walked towards the bed.

"H-Hakata, it's still in the middle of the day—!"

"Let's make it worth the effort then, shall we?"

Blushing Akita couldn't help but giggled seeing his King's excitement. That smirk he flashed, that eagerness he displayed. Even how Hakata thought nothing of the time of the day was amusing to Akita. He could feel Hakata's happiness, joy, exhilaration mixed into one time of togetherness in one single action.

Though, little did they know that that could be the very last of their joint consummate moment in bliss.
