It's wonderful to still be alive
I'm no longer blinded by the pain
That I've tried to hide
I no longer have to contain
What I feel inside
I have learned to let it flow
With each breath I let go
Each day I began to grow
Thanks to the one who said no
If I had done it
I would not have known
What life had to offer
