Well..a new change

For the past few months I'd noticed a weird attitude of some teachers towards me. Since middle school, I had been in their good - book. But whenever they saw me with Candy, their way of talking to me changed.

Surely I had come to realise the bad influence that Candy was, to me. That girl, had an attitude problem. She didnt study. She was a disturbing element in the class. Never listened to any teacher. She thought that she was the boss. She was an attention seeker. And every teacher disliked her.

Now the problem was, whatever I did, wherever I went, that girl was always sticking to me. "Kayano Please...I want to go toooooo" she whined and made her infamous puppy-eyes which finally made me succumb to her wishes. What a fool I was...

So, mostly the teachers caught her with me and with raised eyebrows and a surprised expression, they would ask me "You're again with her?" This particularly happened with my favourite Maths Teacher (a teacher who was like a older brother to me), my Vernacular teacher and English teacher. I was quite fond of them..and hated to hear these stuff from them.

Now..i faced another blow when my results came out. Did I ever mention before that Candy forcefully sat beside me? So well..during classes, she disturbed the hell outta me. And I couldn't concentrate. She kept poking me, talking, and drawing stuff on the desk. Sitting beside her, influenced me to slack off in studies. So, when my results came out..I scored pretty badly.

Thats when I realised that I should bring an end to our 'friendship'. I decided that I wouldn't sit beside her anymore.

And so..one fine day, I just stopped talking to her altogether. I behaved quite indifferently, talking to others and acting as I'd she weren't there.

Finally with my new found independence, I made new friends!!

I had a few Otaku friends in my class, with whom Candy never allowed me to speak to. Whenever I used to talk to them, she'd pull me away from them and tell me nonsense bad stuff about them.

When I broke ties with Candy, I had nowhere to sit..and for the first time in my life some people 'offered' me to sit the them, even though it meant we'd have to squeeze.

One of them was miraichan10.  With her coming I to my life, my whole perspective of life changed . She brought light into my dark world..spring into my ice covered life. I learnt to smile again..laugh again...
