Jacqui's Story

Chapter 6

I wake up and look at the clock. 11:20 it read. Wow I must have had a good sleep.

"Mum what's wrong?" I ask her. My mums looks at me and straight away I can tell that she has been crying. Her face is all red and her eyes are all puffy. "Hun-ny, your-your father, he was in-in an accident." My mums says. I look down at my feet as I feel the tears start to make their way down my cheeks. "He didn't make it did he?" I asked. "Hunny, I'm so sorry." My mum says. I look up at her and see the tears running down her face. I wrap my arms around her, and pulled her into the embrace.

It's Saturday, and today I'm going shopping with Steph. I get out of bed and walk into my bathroom. I strip out of my pyjamas and turn the shower on. I get under the luke-warm water, and as soon as the water touches my muscles, they feel so much more loose.

I get out of the shower and grab a bra and matching underwear. I go back into the bathroom and put on some make up. Just the basic, mascara, concealer and eye liner. I walk back into my closet and pick out some clothes to wear. I pick out a black dress that hugs my body. The dress has black lace at the top and it goes around my neck.  (Dress is up the top of your wondering) I grab a pair of black heels that match my dress. I go back into the bathroom and straighten my hair and let my hair hang down to my waist. I walk downstairs, happy with my reflection and see mum standing at the stove. "Morning mum, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm good thanks Hun, how about you? "She asks me. "Yeah I'm great thanks." I reply with. "Well don't you look lovely!" She says with an amazed look on her face. "Haha thank you mum. I'm going shopping with Steph today." I replied. She nods her head. "So whatcha cooking chooken?" I ask with a smile creeping it way onto my face. "Oh I'm making bacon and egg rolls for us, so that we can sit down together and have a nice breakfast." She says. "Aww thanks mum!" I say. I pull her into a hug.

After breakfast I go upstairs and brush my teeth. I go back down stairs and grab my purse and phone. I hear a knock on the door. "Coming!" I yell. I open the door and see Steph standing there looking amazing. "Hey!" I say. "Hey!" She replies. I pull her into a hug and let go. "Steph you look amazing!" I exclaim. She was gorgeous. She was in a tight white dress, and she had matching white heels. Her makeup was lightly done. She had mascara on and a bit of blush.

We just came out of factorie and we both had at least 6 bags of clothes and shoes. "This has been a great day! Thank you for making it happen." I say
"If I wasn't here, then who else would've made this day so fun!?" Steph exclaims. To be honest, if Steph int come with me, then this day wouldn't have been this fun. "So Steph, how's Tyler going?" I asked her. "Well, we have kissed and made out a couple of times, but he said that he will wait until I'm ready. So nothing serious." She explains. I nod. "He's a good guy Tyler." I explained. She nods. "Yeah, I'm really lucky aren't I?" She says. I nod my head and agree with her. "And your really lucky to have Zach." She says. Now that I couldn't deny. "Haha yeah, we do make a pretty good team Zach and I." I laugh. Just thinking about him makes me miss him.
