Emily's P.O.V

I panicked once Jessica's body went limp and fell to the ground.

"Holy shit", Jaime whispered. I bent down and held Jess's head in my hands.

"Jess?", I asked. No response.

"We need to take her to the hospital. We parked nearby", Vic said. I shook my head.

"We can't", I said quietly. We were silent for a while.

"What do you mean you can't?", Mike asked. I sighed, debating on whether I should tell them.

"If the hospital sees her...bruises and scars, they'll send her away", I said sadly.

"We can't take her there", I said. I seriously wanted to get her medical attention but I knew we can't take her.

"Look at her! She's passed out", Vic said, panicking. I felt a tear slip down my cheek. I always hated seeing Jess hurt.

"Help me carry her?", I asked, ignoring Vic. "Carry her where?", Mike asked.

"To her house", I said. Mike nodded and picked her up bridal style. I wiped my eyes and carried her puppy.

We walked in a shocked silence to their car. The only time anyone spoke was when I gave directions.

"It's here", I said. I got out and Mike carried her through the doors, and the guys trailed behind us as I led them to her room.

Nobody else was home, which was a good thing.

Mike layed her pale body on her bed and I grabbed the first aid kit from the bathroom.

"Do you need help?", Vic asked. I sighed and nodded. "Yeah, but its not gonna be pretty", I admitted.

He nodded and I opened the first aid kit. I took out some alcohol wipes to clean the wounds and some gauze.

"Here goes nothing", I said and carefully pulled off her shirt, leaving her in a black tank top she had on underneath.

She was so skinny it pained me. I heard small gasps from the guys as her bruised and slashed skin was revealed.

Vic's eyes were glistening. "Why would she do this to herself?", he asked.

"It's a long story, for now, hold this", I said, and handed him the roll of gauze.

I used the alcohol wipes to clean her bleeding wounds and then layered them in the gauze.

I sighed and turned to the guys.

"Can you guys wait in the living room? I have to clean her thighs", I said. They all nodded sadly and quietly left the room.

"Why Jess?", I whispered as I finished off the bandages. Then I put a blanket on her. Dragon was sleeping by her feet.

I sighed as I left and closed the door behind me. I prepared myself for the conversation to come and walked downstairs.

Mike, Tony and Vic were sitting on one of the couches in the living room and Jaime was on a recliner.

I sat on a beanbag chair and let out a shaky breath.

"Are you okay?", Jaime asked. I smiled sadly and nodded. "I...I just hate seeing her so...broken", I whispered.

After a few moments of silence, Vic spoke up. "So what happened?", he asked.

"If I tell you guys, you can't say anything to anyone", I said. They all nodded silently and I sighed.

"Okay, here goes nothing", I said and looked at them seriously.
