I stumbled back a little, feeling embarrassed after bumping into someone.

"Um..sorry", I mumbled. Then I looked up. The guy I bumped in to had lots of tattoos and a piercing above his left cheek. He was standing by three other guys, two of which had tattoos as well.

"It's okay, can I help you?", he asked. I nodded. "Yeah, uh, I'm looking for my friend...", I trailed off. The four guys studied me and I shifted uncomfortably under their gazes. I didn't like strangers looking at me.

"Who are you?", the guy with long black hair and a lip piercing asked. I didn't know if I should tell them my name, but I did. "I'm Jessica, who are you?", I asked, looking at them confusedly.

They looked kind of surprised. "You don't know who we are?", a guy with spikey-hair asked. I shook my head and furrowed my eyebrows. "No, should I?", I asked. The guy in a snapback and nose ring laughed.

"Well you came to our concert, so...", he trailed off. It took me a moment to register what he said. They're Pierce The Veil? I feel kind of stupid now.
"Oh, okay, well I'm still looking for my friend, you pulled her on stage and I lost her", I said. The dude in the snapback spoke up again. "You're the girl who rejected me", he joked.

"Yeah um, where's Emily?", I asked. "You're not freaking out and fangirling", the spikey haired guy pointed out. My eyebrows knitted together once again. "Why should I? You're just people", I shrugged.

"I like her", the tall guy with a lip piercing said. "So any clue where Emily is?", I asked, once again bringing her up. They looked confused for a second. "Oh yeah, sorry about that. Follow us", the guy with the nose ring said.

I trailed behind them as they led me somewhere, hopefully to Emily. "So are you a fan?", someone asked. I realized I was walking next to the very tall one. I shrugged. "Yeah, I have some albums". He rose an eyebrow.
"So how come you didn't recognize us?", he asked skeptically. "Because I buy your albums to listen to your music, not your faces", I said simply. He smirked. "I like the way you think", he said.

We kept walking and reached what looked like a dressing room. They opened the door and I peered inside. Emily was sitting on a chair, looking around. She turned her attention towards the door when we walked in. Then she lunged at me, literally.

"Jess! Oh my God it was amazing! You have no idea!", she gushed. I unhooked her hands, which were squeezing the life out of me, and also hurting my bruises. I ignored the pain.

"Okay Em, I get it. Now can we go? I'm hungry", I said.
Emily looked at the guys around her in awe. "I..we...they", she stuttered. I sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Thank you guys, sorry if she was crazy", I said. They all shook their heads.

"No problem", the shortest one said. I nodded and turned to walk out, but Emily stopped me. "Wait! I wanna stick around for the meet and greet so they can sign my album!", she said. I still had my back to them.

I groaned. "Ughh fine but you owe me food", I said and turned around. "You don't have to wait, we'll sign it right now if you have a sharpie", the short one said. Emily stood there, speechless.

"O-okay", she breathed and pulled out a sharpie and her favorite album. They all passed it around and signed it. Then the tall one, who was the last to sign it, handed it back to her.

"Thank you so much!", she praised and put it back in her bag. "Do you have anything you want signed?", the tall one asked me. I shook my head. "I'm good! Now lets please go, I'm starving!", I begged Emily.

She was too busy staring at the spikey haired dude with googly eyes. I frowned. The tall one whispered something in the short one's ear and he nodded, then turned to me. "Do you guys live in San Diego?", he asked.
