"Shut the fuck up!", I growled and forced myself away from Matt. He was taken by surprise and I got free.

I was fuming in anger. I finally had enough.

"Who do you think you are?!", I yelled. Matt rolled his eyes and reached for me again.

"No!", I shouted and pushed him away. He stumbled back and tripped on his own feet and fell on his back.

"You!", I seethed, glaring at Ashley. She glared right back.

"You're a horrible person! You're stuck up and don't give a shit about anything or anyone! I can't believe I got stuck with you as a sister!", I sneered.

She scowled at me as Matt got up. "You bitch", he growled and cracked his knuckles.

He pounced at me and I stepped back. I grabbed his shoulders and kneed his jewels.

He groaned and held himself, backing away.

"Don't ever touch me again! I hope you rot in hell!", I yelled. I went over to where he had thrown my backpack and I slung it over my shoulders.

I walked back over to Ashley and glared at her. "What did I ever do to you?", I asked.

Ashley's eyes flashed with something. But it left as soon as it came and her eyes were left with hatred.

She lifted her hand to strike me again. I grabbed her wrist roughly and she yelped.

"One day you'll know how I feel", I said and released her arm from my grip. I turned away and stomped up the stairs.

I quickly left the house and began walking down the street. I dug around in my backpack and pulled out my phone.

I had seven missed calls from Mike. Just as I was about to call him, my phone rang.

I clicked answer and held the phone to my ears. Mike's concerned voice immediately rushed through the receiver.

"Jessica! I was so worried! Where are you? Are you okay? I'm on my way", he said.

"Calm down. I'm fine now", I said, my voice coming out in monotone.

"Where are you? I just passed the beach", he said.

"You don't need to come get me. I'm on my way home", I said.

"I'm coming anyways. Where are you?", he asked. I looked around and saw a street sign ahead of me.

I walked over to it and read the sign to him.

   "Creekwood Road", I said.

"I'll be there in no time. Stay where you are", he said. I nodded and stayed quiet.

I didn't really know what I was feeling. Or even if I was feeling anything. Everything was such a blur and I was still processing it all.

A few moments later, the same black car from the concert pulled up and a tall, lanky figure immediately rushed out.

Mike came over to me and embraced me tightly.

"Are you okay?", he asked again. I stayed still in his arms and slightly nodded my head against his chest.

He pulled away and examined me.

"Did he do that?", he asked, touching my jawline. "Do what?", I asked.

"You're bruising", he said and lightly ran his thumb over my jawline. I shrugged.

"Guess so", I muttered. Mike frowned and led me into his car. I stared blankly ahead as he started it up and drove away.
