JUNE'S P.O.V.:

It wasn't that cold for February, I decided as I was walking home from the bus stop.

Finally, it was half term. I had been looking forward to this week since... Well, since Christmas.

Next week I could finally see Alice again!

Alice Mallet wasn't my friend like my best friends Jasmine and Jade were, she was a special friend of mine. We got to know each other through Twenty4Seven.

It was a pity though that she lived quite a while away. Alice lived in a small town called Hartley Wintney that was a 45 minute drive from London while I lived in Portsmouth.

All of a sudden my favourite part of Jesus Of Suburbia by Green Day started playing through my headphones, Dearly Beloved and I completely forgot what I was even thinking about in the first place.

I quickly looked around to see if there were any people around me, when I saw that there weren't I started to sing along.

It was a pity that I reached my house before the song ended, I fished my keys out of my pocket and slid them into the lock.

Practically the second I stood inside my phone went off.

"Hey Jaz." I said to my best friend while shoving the door to the living room open.

"Hey Jaz? That's all I get? Hey?" she interrogated.

"What's going on now?"

"You mean you don't know?" she seemed surprised.

"What don't I know?" I asked, making my way to the kitchen to make myself some tea.

"You did it!" Jasmine squealed, "You got all the retweets!"

I practically dropped the mug I was holding, I did it.

I really did it.

"I'll leave you to process." And after she said that, she hung up.

Twitter, I had to open Twitter.

I opened up my notifications and clicked on the last retweet, that made a grand total of 502, I only needed 500. This was perfect.

I took a screenshot and headed over to my DMs.

About two or three months ago I made an outrageous decision, I DMed Tristan Maxted and asked him that if I got 500 retweets he would go on a date with me.

Apparently I caught him in a moment of weakness, because he said yes and I happily accepted my challenge, not thinking I would actually pull it off, but fantasizing about what would happen when I did.

And now I actually did pull it off.

For a moment I forgot how to breathe.

When I remembered I sent Tristan the screenshot.

Me: You owe me a date ;)

Did I have to send a winky face? Well, I couldn't take it back now.

Now, what tea did I want?

Peppermint with honey, hands down.

I sat down with my tea and grabbed some Jaffa Cakes to go with it, as I opened the new danisnotonfire video on Youtube I got a Twitter notification and I clicked on it without properly acknowledging it.

Tristan: A promise is promise :) As it's half term, what about 18th Feb?

February 18th? That was the day I was going to meet Alice, but I couldn't turn down Tristan Maxted.

I wouldn't. Alice would understand.

Me: Sounds perfect, where?

Tristan: Trafalgar Square, near the steps?

Me: Yes :)

Tristan: See you there! :)

This. Was. Perfect.

Now I just had to break the news to Alice.

I sipped on my tea, trying to keep my cool while I went through my contacts, trying to find her name.

She picked up after a few rings: "June!"

"Heyyyyy!" I replied, dragging out the word with a smirk on my face.

"What happened?" Apparently my smirk was audible somehow.

"You're going to kill me, for two different reasons." I said.

"Why? Did you lose my shirt, the one you borrowed, but haven't given me back yet?"

"No."

"Then what?"

I took an exaggerated breath, "I have to bail on you."

"What? No! Why?" she questioned.

"And this is the second reason why you're going to kill me." I paused for a second, "I have a date on that day, he chose the date and I didn't want to let him down."

"Why would I kill you for having a date?" Alice asked, "Your first date, may I add."

"Because you know who it is."

"What, Josh?" Josh was a guy from the year above me that worked at my local Costa and Alice had slight crush on him, even though she was already dating a guy named Alex.

"Josh?" I huffed, "Cute, but not my type. Tristan. As in Tristan William Maxted."

"Oh. My. Holy. Pancakes." Alice exclaimed, "I hate you."

"Sorry, name any concert in London, I'll pay for your ticket." I said, "Well, I did want to see All Time Low." she answered.

"Done, I wanted to go anyway. It's on March 20th by the way."

"We will have to do something else soon though." she said.

"I promise."

We said our goodbyes and then I hung up.

This day couldn't get better, I was going to see All Time Low and I had a date with Tristan Maxted.

For the first time in my life I felt like I wasn't lying to myself when I said that I loved my life.

It felt great.
