JUNE'S P.O.V.:

My eyelids fluttered open, I wasn't in my normal room.

It took me a moment to realise that I was in my grandparents' house. My room was very small here, there was barely enough space for a single bed.

I jumped out of bed the second I remembered what day it was.

Today I had a date.

And not just any date, but a date with Tristan William Maxted of Dorset.

Could my life get any better?

Well, he could actually fall for me... But that would never happen of course, I had been fan-zoned.

That's worse than being friend-zoned.

I walked into the bathroom that was practically next to my room and had one look in the mirror: "Oh god, I look like a stinking hobo." I muttered to myself.

I quickly hopped into the shower and started to wash the grease out of my hair.

After that I got dressed and my stomach started to make strange sounds, so I headed downstairs, to the kitchen.

"Good morning." I said as I glided past my step-grandmother, Nicole Coleman, on my fuzzy socks.

I couldn't glide in my dad's kitchen, but here the floor was smooth enough to glide, so obviously I never walked, I only glided.

"Morning, what do you want for breakfast?" she asked.

"I shall have the Honey Cheerios!" I announced with a grand gesture while grabbing a cereal bowl.

"Someone's excited." my step-mum said as she entered the kitchen.

"And what do you want for breakfast, Amelia?" Nicole asked, "I'll just start with some coffee." Amelia answered.

"Coffee? I want coffee! Can I have coffee too?" I asked, practically jumping out of my seat.

Amelia handed me a mug with coffee in it after I finished my cereal, I added my usual amount of milk and sugar and headed back upstairs with it.

I walked into the bathroom, thank god no one was in there, I turned around and locked the door.

When I got ready, I locked myself up, I was funny that way. I didn't like it when people watched me get ready.

The mirror wasn't full length, but I could see my whole outfit in it, I made a good choice.

I was wearing a navy skater dress with small, white bows all over it and a cropped, black leather jacket with thermal tights.

My phone pulled me out of my daze with a Twitter notification, someone liked my tweet apparently.

Okay, I had to fix my face, not too much make-up of course, just a streak here and there.

But first of all, I needed music and coffee.

I sipped my coffee and set it down next to the sink as I scrolled through my music on my phone, finally I decided to shuffle All Time Low.

The first song that came on was Under A Paper Moon, this was literally perfect, I lived and breathed that song.

I grabbed my concealer and got rid of my under-eye circles and any spots, added some powder and mascara.

By the time I had finished, I had gotten bored of listening to All Time Low, so I put on Alone by Sleeping With Sirens.

My hair was next, was I going to leave it loose or put it up in a doughnut?
