TRISTAN'S P.O.V.:
The sun woke me up by hitting me in the face with its warm light.
It took me a while to realise that I was at June's house, but she wasn't there. I was alone in her room.
As I rubbed my eyes with my hands I heard music coming from the hallway. Me hearing that music was probably June's fault.
Suddenly I felt slightly warmer inside; I wasn't lonely anymore. That sounded pathetic.
I pushed the duvet to the side and slowly got out of the bed. As I made my way out of the room and into the hallway I saw that the bathroom door was open.
Don't get me wrong, I wasn't a creeper, but I couldn't stop myself.
I stood in the door opening and June didn't seem to notice. She was jumping around with her eyes closed and holding a hairbrush. She then belted out: "She's my kinda crazy!"
She was.
What?
"Holy mother of sweet Jesus! Ever heard of knocking?" she accused, I then realised I had been laughing.
"No, that's a foreign concept to me."
June walked over to me and started to push me out of the bathroom, "What was that song?" I asked as she did so.
"7 Days by The Summer Set."
"I like it." I told her.
"Okay, that's nice. Now get out."
She closed the door as soon as I stood in the hallway. I still heard the music, but she wasn't singing anymore which was a pity.
If I was being honest; her singing wasn't top notch, but that didn't matter, I loved seeing her have fun and not caring.
JUNE'S P.O.V.:
Oh god, that was so embarrassing. Did he really have to walk in on me doing that?
Why the hell didn't I close the door? I knew I was stupid, but I surely couldn't have been so stupid?
When I had finished I walked into the hallway, Tristan was leaning against the wall and smirked at me. I felt a blush stain my cheeks. I bowed my head and headed into my room, leaving the bathroom door open for Tris.
"So, what are we doing today?" Tris asked.
I took in a deep breath and answered: "I was thinking we could maybe go the cinema if you're up for it. My treat."
Tris smiled, "Yes, of course I am."
I was very sure we had just reached a new level in our relationship; Tristan had just heard me "sing" and saw me during one of my weird moments and he apparently enjoyed it.
A part of me couldn't shake the feeling that this was important for some reason. Other people would have had a very awkward reaction, but Tris seemed pretty chill.
"Whatya doing?" Tristan suddenly whispered in my ear, his wet hair tickling my neck which made me giggle a bit.
"Thinking." I told him.
"About me?"
Oh crap. "No..." I lied.
"Whatever, you ready?" he asked, taking my hand and pulling me up.
I loved the softness of his hands, they just felt so nice.
What?
Okay, I needed to cleanse my brain, it was thinking weird stuff.
Author's Note:
Yes, this chapter is super short and it's really bad. Trust me, I know, you don't have to point it out. Also, it's very cheesy, but that's kinda important for later so just accept it.
I am aiming to complete this story over the next six or seven days, that'll probably require daily updates which should be doable. Fingers crossed. I promise they'll be better than this one.
I might even do a second update today ;)
Anyway please vote and comment if you're feeling nice :))
XOXO Nina
