"You're going to make us grow our own food, aren'tcha?" Toby groans, slouching his shoulders as Mouthy nods to him. "Survival..." Kate spits, secretly wanting to let the twitch starve. Mouthy mimic's the hunch in Kate's back, holding an identical stance as her partner. "I love gardening!" Kate's raspy voice slips from Mouthy's mask, causing the stained proxy to look confused. Mouthy giggles childishly, letting the sound flow around everyone. Kate turns to punch the mouthless proxy, growling in an annoyed tone. Mouthy continues to mimic her partner's voice, while being thrown to the ground. "Seeds! Plants!" She growls, getting pinned down under Kate's grasp. "And dirt!" "Shut up!" Kate screamed into Mouthy's face, leaning in to drip spit on her. Hanging a string of saliva from the crack in her mask, right over her mouth, Kate gurgles before Mouthy throws her knee into her chest. The two girls role over the other, spinning and wrestling in a jumble of limbs. "Girls!" Slender sighs into the air, a hint of surprise laced in the sound. "Toby, stop encouraging them." "Sorry, Boss." The goggled proxy replies, grabbing the wall for support before giving a thunderous laugh. Vince watches, replaying the phrase 'I love gardening' in his head multiple times, covering a smirk with his hand. "Honestly, I hope this works without having to mess around in anyone's memories." Slender groans, pulling a hand to rub his temples; as if to wipe away a headache. "I am going to retrieve the things you will need, I will return after dark. In the meantime; Kate, Mouthy, make sure these two get along." He hums to the girls, pointing a hand at Vince and Toby. Kate tumbles over her partner, looking darkly up at the tall man. She gives a nod and grunt of confirmation, unable to gather her senses before Mouthy grabs her shoulders to toss her away. Toby bounces on his toes, the energy pulsing through his limbs causing him to twitch. Vince looks into the blank face of Slender's. "Get along, and kill the intruders; got it." The proxy says, adjusting his shades. "Anything else we should know?" He asks, keeping sturdy posture before the boss. Slender shakes his head. "Besides that it gets dark after nine, no. The rest is up to you and your general need for survival. Though, I will have to check on you both often just incase those needs cannot be met." He whispers to the plain proxy. "Mouthy can inform me if there is a problem, however we will have to find a more permanent solution for contact." "Yes sir." Vince replies, deciding that standing by Toby would be a good display of obedience. As the girls continue to throw one another around, Toby waits for an opening to join in the pile; at least until his partner takes to leaning on the wall next to him. The two newest proxies stare at each other for a moment before looking calmly at the Slenderman. With a nod, the faceless man disappears before they could even blink. "So, um, what now?" Vince says, looking down at the girls with an eyebrow raised. "You guys are the supervisors, what do you want us to do?" He says a little louder, thinking that they couldn't hear him the first time. Kate attempts to put her partner into an arm-bar, but accidentally knocks Mouthy's mask up just enough to reveal her cracked lips. The grey hooded proxy opens her mouth to bite Kate's calf and make her recoil, giving Mouthy enough room to wiggle out of the arm-bar. Kate pulls Mouthy back to the ground in front of her, pinning her arms down on both sides of her grey hoodie. "Hey!" Toby barks, taking Vince's side. The girls crane their necks to look at the boys, both thinking of what to do or say. Mouthy arches her back, inhaling deeply. She drops her back to headbutt Kate in the jaw, shoving her to the concrete with the rest of her momentum. With a quick motion, the mouthless proxy darts towards Vince, not stopping her advance. Reeling back her fist, Mouthy punches Vince's good shoulder. "Tag! You're it!" She cackles deeply, turning to run down the foggy hallway to the left. Watching her turn the corner in surprise, Toby pulls together the pieces. "Vince is it, don't let him touch you!" The twitch shouts, running out into the courtyard as Kate takes off down the eerie hallway to the right. Leaving the hoodless proxy behind, dumbstruck and clutching his arm. He sighs, before a smile finds it's way to the man's lips. "I'm going to hate this game." He grumbles, ending with a psychotic chuckle as he dashes off after one of the other proxies. - - - (BEN_Drowned's POV) "Good god! I am so bored!" I growl staring at the ceiling with an empty look, groaning my frustrations at the charcoal haired man lounging on the sofa. "Come on Jeff, you're not even paying attention to what they're saying. Lets just play a damn game." "Go find someone else to whine at, Elf. I'm not in the mood for your bullshit." Jeff growls, readjusting his position in front of the T.V. by throwing his boots up on the coffee table. "I'm watching the news to hear about how pathetic the urban community is, I don't want to watch you shoot out the brains of NPCs." His voice is almost lost of all it's bitterness, and a slur tails the end of his words. "Give me five more minutes and another beer and I might consider moving my lazy ass." "Get up and get your own shit, Smiley." A hiss, pushing off the floor to float weightlessly above him. My eyes just stare down at his charred hair in disgust. "Honestly what's got your panties in a twist? You look miserable, more so the usual anyway." I give a small chuckle, making sure I'm out of arms reach of the psycho. Not wanting him to pick a fight with me while he's drunk, that'll ruin the furniture not to mention piss off the boss. Maybe it would be a good idea then, heh, that'd teach him. A smile crawls over my features. "...Keeping up with the latest reports of local issues, a man was found this morning in a superstore parking lot with five women tied up and naked inside of his camper. He went inside to buy food and drinks for a road trip that the six of them had been on for three days; when one of the women started to kick the wall. A pedestrian heard the sound and peaked through one of the windows at the women. They called the authorities and police officers to investigate. The man was apprehended while returning back to his vehicle. The women were clothed and recognized and are currently being returned to their homes across the area. Now after that heavy report, we bring you a single mother and her twins that have been blessed with a pregnant dog and the hopes of a litter of new pups for sale. They'll be avali-" The news reporter monologues on-and-on until Jeff's foot hit the off button on the remote. He curses, not bothering to turn the thing back on. He looks up at me with a sigh, silently asking me to do it. I close my eyes and shake my head, flipping over to float on my back. "That is why you keep your feet of the coffee table, Jeff." A deep voice buzzes in our heads, followed by two long legs descending the stairs into the room. "Nice to see you too, Slender." Jeff growls, sarcasm dripping from his alcohol breath. "You wouldn't mind Slender-walking to get me another drink, then just pop back in, now would'ya?" "Jeffery, put the bottle down. I believe you have been wanting to consult me about something. Care to talk?" Slender says, perking my interest. "Stay out of my head, Slendy." Jeff growls, tilting back the rest of his drink. Licking the rim of the bottle before putting the empty glass in the floor. "It's not cool, especially when I'm drunk." "Then stop sulking on my couch. Talk, otherwise keep your mouth in check and mind at bay." The tall man hisses, turning to leave. "Did you do it yet?" Jeff asks, not denying that he wanted to talk. Slender tilts his head at the black haired man, more than likely reading his thoughts to figure out what 'it' is. "No, I've given them a chance to fix their mess." He replies not caring that I look completely clueless. "What made you change your mind?" Jeff says, picking up the T.V. remote, spinning it in his hand. "I doubt my little out burst was the cause." He mumbles flicking on the screen to the news once again, turning the volume down really low to keep the conversation going. "You are right, I was not moved by your... speech. However, the memories of my proxies are the most precious things they have. Hoodie has kept it quiet, but I already know he remembers plenty of his past and that he refuses to tell anyone. Masky keeps journals to remind himself of any event that has occurred while he's been under this roof, and I would often find Toby sneaking into his room to read what happened before he arrived." Slender begins, folding his hands behind his back. My eyes and ears are locked on the man, while Jeff looks unamused. "Kate has a small stash of brochures and papers she has found while exploring outside of their assigned domain. Even Mouthy has a memento from her past, a small bloodied price tag she always has tucked away on her person." "What does this have to do with my question, Slender?" Jeff snaps, flipping around to drape his arms over the back of the sofa with a sick look of annoyance. The tall man stares blankly at the killer's bleached features. "They changed my mind." He hisses. "I have found that they fear me as much as they obey me." "Subconsciously knowing that they've lost everything, but not being able to know how much that is." I let the words fall off my tongue, officially joining the conversation and earning weird looks from both parties. Jeff glares at me, sighing at my comment while Slender gives me a nod of approval. "It'd make perfect sense; they'll do everything you say, and if they rebel you just 'remove and reset.' They won't know what they rebelled about afterwards, so you keep the proxy." "That is exactly how it is, Ben. To them, knowing that someone they knew well does not remember them, is worse than watching that person die a gruesome death." Slender booms into the air around us, holding his posture straight before tilting his body in an attempt to leave and end the conversation. "I knew you to be heartless, but this is a whole new version of your sadistic side, Boss. I'm impressed." I say as clear as crystal, tilting my head to meet his face before sending a side long glance to Jeff. Seeing the smily man with his hand gripped tightly around the remote, balancing on the edge of his nerves. "Don't you agree, Jeff?" I give a chuckle as a smile cracks my lips. "Yea, whatever. Why not just toss out the old versions and drag in new ones. You might as well, I mean each time you see an interesting human ya seem to bring it back anyways." Jeff hisses not letting his eyes leave the T.V. screen. "I my opinion, if they'd rather watch their comrades be butchered then satisfy 'em. I know, set an example by slitting Mouthy's pretty-little throat in front of them. Rip her whole head off and hang the mask up on the wall as a reminder, slowly build a trophy room of their disobedient hides. Now that'll keep 'em in check; scare any of your future helpers shitless." Jeff laughs, the alcohol severing any connection of rational thinking between his brain and mouth. As his cackles become more raspy and rough, and the atmosphere thickens to a water like consistency. A suffocating feeling pressing against my head as the T.V. screen spontaneously glitches out, emitting a shrill whistle. The lights flicker and flash, several bulbs bursting. Jeff's laughter stops as his eyes land on the blank face of the Slenderman, his neck craned backwards with his signature smile slapped on his jaw. Slender's tendrils whip left and right, his form swipes through the air and I watch as he appears right behind the couch where Jeff sits. Before my jaw has the chance to drop, Slender's hand is around the psycho's throat; tight enough to allow Jeff's whole body to be held feet off of the ground. Keeping a sick smirk, Jeff widens his eyes in a taunting manner. "You can not comprehend us." Slender growls clearly, the T.V. screen pulsating with his every word. A pop sounds around us as the room turns black. The breaker must have been overloaded, and that hunk of equipment was made to withstand a lot. A distant choir of disappointed moans from the other household members rings into the room from the stairs, saying that everything must be off now. I hear Slender drop Jeff. With an 'oof' and a groan, Jeff begins to cough heavily. "I''ll return when once my business has been taken care of fully." Slender's thunderous voice echoes around the room, before both he and the thick atmosphere disappear. Well, shit.
