ONE — SAVE YOURSELF
[warning: suicidal attempt and thoughts]
A HORRIBLE DISEASE has been going around the United States that had started from an inhuman, you were affected by the disease after you came across one of them during a mission with the team, no one knew about it so you tried to cover it up. The only person who knew was Vision after hearing your screams from your nightmares. He helped you lie to the team about it but there was much protests from him saying how unsafe it was.
You felt yourself getting worse as days past. It first started with the constant nightmares, then it was the flinching, then it ended with the weakness and constant visions of your fears and horrible past.
"Hello [Y/N]," Vision greeted as soon as you slowly got out of your room.
You look up at Vision with a weak smile, "Hey, Vision."
"Are you feeling well?" Vision questions while you both began walking to the meeting room where the team was waiting at. He looked at you hoping the disease was gone even though you haven't took any medications.
"Yeah, why?" You say as you almost hit the wall in front of you, you chuckled lightly, "Woops."
"You don't look well," He says as he quickly steps in front of you and faces you making sure you don't run off avoiding the subject. "May I assist you to the infirmary?"
"No thanks," You say while stepping around him. "I'm fine."
"I can assure you that you are not 'fine'," He says to you while trying to catch up as his cape glides in the air from him walking quickly.
You look at him sighing. "Vision, I already said I'm fine. Let's not talk about this with people walking around." You say gesturing to the agents that are walking down the hall. He sighed and nodded while you smiled at him and quietly continued your way to the room.
Once you made it to the meeting you were talking about the next mission when you suddenly saw a bright flash blinding you for a second, you closed your eyes and put your hand over your eyes. You realized it was nothing then proceeded to listen to Fury and Steve. You then noticed Vision looking at you from across the table. You smiled at him weakly then tried to pay attention to what was happening. Suddenly you saw a quick flashback from your life before Shield, the disease starting to affect your brain. You screamed, causing everyone to look at you then fell to the floor shaking violently.
Wanda ran to you trying to read your mind only causing her to scream as well. Pietro quickly pulled her away from you. "What the hell?!" Pietro screamed as your eyes were black clouding your vision only showing your past. Wanda was on the floor crying as Steve ran up to you not knowing what to do.
