Dear Grandma,

You are my mother to me. You mean everything to me, in a way that you're the one that protects me. Although, you're so old and I'm the one protecting and taking care of you. You're so crazy, I love you so much.

You're the only one who accepts me the way I am. Your mother loved and carry me and only me, I guess she sensed future pain for me.

I'll take care of you no matter what. I try my best at cooking good but it seems all you want is to teach me. My food tastes delicious and you still nag about it, but that's ok.

You love my son, Tobby, my precious dog. You love giving him food and I know you lie when you tell me your food fell. I still love you very much.

I am not afraid to do anything beside you. You know all my secrets before my mother. I can do yoga without embarrassment. Sing and dance. Headbang.

We share our coffee and I feel it special every time. I love drinking it with you, that's a moment we share. I know you love it too, because you always ask me to drink it by your side while you're drinking yours.

You take care of me by buying me things to eat, clothes and at times helping me pay my phone. I thank you a million for that. As well as I take care of you by cleaning your house, doing the backyard, taking care of you, your bunny, making your bed, which you love so much when I do it.

This new life of mine is so close to yours. I can go visit you whenever I want to go, the sad part, there's too many people there and sometimes I feel too uncomfortable.

Grandma, I'll be here until you want me to be. I won't leave your side. I know you want me to always stay at your house with you, but there's too many people that start talking shit, for my emotionals's state, makes me leave your side.

I've had many laughs with you. I've cried my worst pain with you. You were there when I had my worst breakup. You do your best to make me feel at home. To be happy. You'll always protect me and I know it. But I've grown and you've grown old, now it's my time to take care of you.

I don't want you leaving soon. You need to see my children, and I'll take you with me when I work in the US. I'll make you a better life, and you'll love it. I'll take you with me wherever I go, we could live a peaceful life. I know you need it, especially now that you've grown into a child again.

                 PS: I love you. -Alondra
