Introduction

Everything in your life is a test. The more tests you take, the better you become. Kids like us try to hide from it while adults just don't know about it. This test takes place none other than in school, my friends.

Byun Baekhyun is an 18-year-old high schooler who is a student attending the most prestigious school in the Guro-gu district, South Korea.

The boy had everything., the looks, the popularity, the friends; the list didn't stop there. But, with all these qualities, Byun Baekhyun was the same as any other person. He could be moody, prejudiced and maybe even jealous in some cases, being spoiled by his wealthy parents definitely didn't cut it short. He knew he'd get anything he wanted, bearing the fact that his parents wouldn't object to his wishes anyways.

But, unlike most people his age, Baekhyun never believed in the saying 'Love at first sight'.
"Love? What's so great about it anyways?" He once chuckled coldly when his best friend Lu Han tried discussing the topic with him. Something about that word would get Baekhyun feeling sensitive, the oddest part was him not knowing why... The eldest of the two would only sigh in defeat, knowing his words could never get through a thick-headed teen as Byun Baekhyun himself.

"You might not see it now but when the time comes, you will understand what it truly means. What being loved feels like." Lu Han said it for the last time, making sure his friend heard every word before he left on his own way, the last day of their junior year in high school coming to its closure. Baekhyun shrugged, he couldn't bring himself to care less about his friend's words and instead chose to wander the corridors for a while, lost deep in thought.

If Byun Baekhyun did fear anything, it would be the creepy crawlers~ But on a serious note, what he did fear most was the thought of falling in love with someone. His confidence never shined through whenever it came down to him making the right choices to being invested with someone, not to mention – certainly not having to deal with a broken heart in the first place.

This was how it always had been until one serene Thursday morning. Baekhyun saw his world change right before his very eyes. The new student caught Baekhyun's attention the second he walked into the room. Not a sign of emotion on that poker face yet, the classmates squealed and gawked in awe. Baekhyun couldn't help but question himself, 'Just what made this very guy so special that not a period gone by had both girls and guys drooling over him?'

Oh Sehun, an 18-year-old who had just transferred to Seoul from his hometown was all set to begin a new stage of his life. He was eccentric and couldn't help but feel excited to be attending this school. He didn't expect much but to end his years of high school here, that was until his eyes caught another's seated by the window, an unimpressed gaze staring right back into his brown orbs. Certainty coursed through his being as he immediately told himself they wouldn't get along well or so he thought...

But... What if those cold stares once shared between them turned to something warm and sincere overtime? Would that bring a change for the better between the two individuals? Would memories long forgotten help remember the love they once shared meant far too much than anything else?

Maybe it could, and maybe it will... Maybe it was time Byun Baekhyun took up that test, the one that would tell him whether Oh Sehun was someone who would show him the true meaning of being loved again.
