Side Chapter- 4

Baekhyun being the sweetheart he was, nodding his head obediently at his mother while he leaned into his seat, closing his baby eyes.

The image of Sehun smiling down at him made him grin wider as he snuggles into his baby seat, his tiny palm holding onto his red ranger tightly.

Baekhyun wasn't asleep, he just pretended to be. He quietly sat up after a while, looking towards his mother who sat in the seat next to his, looking out the window while his father sat in the front, looking at a few papers which Baekhyun never really knew what was at the time.

He decided to turn his attention onto the road, admiring the splendid view of colored lights passing by. He was amazed when he saw tall buildings every passing second.

"I'm gonna call you the sky tower because you're just as high as the sky is!" He giggles to himself, waving to his sky tower before looking towards the front.

He then sighed, looking down at his little red ranger with a frown.
'I wonder what Hunnie is doing right now?! Is he asleep?'
He shook his head in denial.

'Ani.. Its still too early for our bedtime. Maybe he's watching T.V with pinku pinku.'

The little angel giggled happily at the thought of Sehun holding Pinku Pinku in his arms while he watched their favorite cartoon together.

"Baekhyun-ah?" His mother said a few seconds later, looking at the little boy who now looked up at her with eyes as wide as a puppy.

"Why aren't you asleep baby?!" She asked, gently pushing his brown bangs off his forehead.
"I'm not tired umma!" Baekhyun whispered, looking away.

His mother sighed, shaking her head before reaching out to him.
"Cmon, sit with me!" She gestured, tapping her lap.

Baekhyun grinned as he watched his mother undo his seatbelt before he pounced into her arms, giggling adorably.

His mother could only smile at him. The rest of the drive was spent with Baekhyun pointing at different sky scrapers and every once in a while, commenting on how he missed his home and Sehun so much.

A few minutes later, the car pulled up beside a building. Baekhyun's father got out the car, walking towards the back and opened the door for his mother.

"Umma?!" The little boy called out to her, reaching his hands out for hers to take but she shook her head.

"Stay here Baekhyunnie, umma and appa have some work to attend to. Don't do anything now arasso?"

Baekhyun faintly nodded as he lowered his arms, looking away sadly which his mother happened to notice.

"Aw Baekhyun-ah, we'll be back soon. I'll buy you candy~ You like them don't you?!"

The little angel looked up in surprise, his sad frown turned into a wide smile as his eyes shined with interest in them. He nodded, clapping his tiny palms together.

"Alright then! I'll buy you some only if you promise to stay quiet okay?"
"Neh umma! I promise!"

His mother smiled before kissing him on his cheek, making the little angel giggle ever so sweety before she closed the door behind her and walked away.

Baekhyun sat in his seat, his whole attention focused on the red ranger in his hands. For a second, he heard the driver's door open, thinking to himself that maybe it was their driver but when he felt the sudden movement of his car which caught his attention, he looked up only to find no one seated there!
