Chapter- 4

"Guys!!!" Kyungsoo came rushing from the kitchen the following morning, with a huge grin on his heart shaped lips, while the rest of us situated ourselves in the living room, watching a random action movie.

"What's got you excited, baby?" Jongin asked while Luhan reached over and hit the mute button, our attention now drawn towards the shortest amongst us.

"So.. I've been thinking about this for a while now and I was wondering if we could, you know, maybe have a bonfire tonight. We could even have BBQ to go along if that's alright with you guys. So what do you say?" Kyungie seemed really excited about this plan.

"Yeah sure. I'm okay with that." Luhan spoke up and this had Kyungsoo cheering. Kai who sat beside him wrapped his hands around his lover's waist and pulled him closer to himself, nuzzling his face into Kyungsoo's neck.

I squealed watching these two, until I noticed Luhan sitting there staring into space. I furrowed my brows, what's gotten into him all of a sudden? I reached forward and patted his shoulder, but got no response.

"Alright!" I whispered below my breath and smacked Luhan hard on his back.

"Aish!!! Yah Baekhyun!" He hissed in pain, trying to reach the spot on his back to ease the sting while I just rolled my eyes in return.

"Mind explaining why you're so out of touch with the present?." Luhan sighed, his arms now rested on his lap. "I just wish I had someone to cuddle with too." He then went on to cross his arms over his chest with a pout.

"Awe Hannie~" I cooed while shifting closer to Luhan, resting my hand across his shoulder. "You could use your own dose of words right now. As you've always told me, love will come around, you just need to give yourself the time to discover that feeling."

"Yes, I know, but that's the deal! I continue to wait all the time and yet I've had no luck in the love department." Luhan said as he turned to face me.

"I don't know how you feel, Hannie. With no experience, I can't say I'd have the right advice to give but, you will surely run into the person you deserve, but because of your carelessness-"

"Yah!" Luhan whined, hitting me on my shoulder, making me laugh softly for teasing him.

"Alright, you know I didn't mean that. As I was saying... give yourself some time, it will totally be worth the wait. You get what I'm saying, yeah?" I asked him.

It took a while to let my words make sense to him, "Baek?" he mumbled, looking up at me.

"Yeah, Lulu?" I asked, meeting his gaze with my own kind ones.

"Where do you sign up for becoming a Love Guru cause I'd like to try that myself."

... The rustle of leaves sounded outside the window. Perhaps a storm was passing over ...

"Forget it! I'm going to take a shower!" I said, completely ignoring Luhan and walking away. I could hear his whines from the living room that soon died down the moment Kyungsoo's voice bounced off the walls. He was probably giving Luhan a lecture to cut his act with his serious face. Kyungsoo if anything could be scary when taunted and it has often made me wonder how the hell did Kai ever muster up the courage to confess to Satansoo? Mysterious indeed. I guess I'll ask him later.

Baekhyun walked into his room that he was to share with Luhan for the night. He grabbed his towel and favorite vanilla scented body wash to the shower. The warm water greeted his body soon enough and the boy quietly enjoyed the warmth, deciding to stay for a few more minutes. Once he was done, he slipped into his comfort clothes and laid himself down on the comfy mattress, now staring at the ceiling. Baekhyun soon felt his eyelids grow heavier and was asleep in no time, snuggled up in the warm duvet cascading his tiny form.
