Chapter- 16

"I'm at Chanyeol's."

The other line turned silent until I heard faint footsteps followed by a door slamming shut.

"Byun Baekhyun! You have a lot of explaining to do!"

Kyungsoo?

"Ahh Kyungi-ah, I-"
"He's a mess because of you."

I stayed silent this time. As much as I wanted to argue, I just couldn't bring myself to do so.

"We've all been up since last night. He hurried over to Luhan's and told him everything. Luhan called me up right after. We went to your place but Gina noona told us you weren't at home but at Sehun's-"

"You guys didn't tell her I left without notice right?" I cut him off before he could complete his say. I really don't want my father worrying about me when he's already got my mother to worry about.

"No. We didn't. Luckily Sehun stayed in the car, so she didn't suspect a thing."

I let out a sigh in relief after hearing that. I was alone right now. Chanyeol left a while ago. He said he'd to do some grocery shopping and asked if I wanted to come along but I politely declined.

"Baekhyun!" Kyungsoo's voice boomed through the speaker.
"Ah-Ahh! Neh?" I didn't even realize I was too caught up in my thoughts until I heard him.

"When are you coming home?" He asked. I sighed and walked out the kitchen to the balcony and leaned against the cold metal railing, taking in the view of Seoul.

"I.. I need time Kyungsoo."
"You know staying away isn't gonna help solve this right?"
"I know. I'm.. I'm just not ready to face him right now!"

Kyungsoo took in a deep breath.
"How long?"
"Huh?"
"How long are you gonna stay at Chanyeol's?"
"Oh.. A day or two I guess.."
"Hmm.. Will you be attending school then?"
"I.. I don't know Kyungie-ah."
"Baek seriously, get yourself together. You know you can't keep ignoring him-"
"But I am. I am ignoring him right now! What difference does it make if I didn't come to school Kyungsoo?! Tell me."

Kyungsoo fell silent after I said that. Off course. What else was left to say?!

"Kyungsoo?! Yeboseyo?" Nothing.
"Yeboseyo?!" Still nothing.
"Kyungsoo-ah!! Say something!!" Aish why isn't he talking?!

"Baek..."
"Yeboseyo? Kyungie-ah! What took you so long?"
"Ahh, Nothing.." I rolled my eyes. What's wrong with Kyungsoo all of a sudden?.

"What happened to your voice?" I asked, scratching my chin with a frown.
"Ah.. I.. Umm.. I've a sore throat!"
"Huh?! But you seemed fine a while ago." Something doesn't seem right.
