A/N: Hey guys, sorry i haven't updated. I've been in New York. I finally had some free time so enjoy.

Her piercing cyan orbs drilled into my soul.

"What are you doing here Katerina?" I asked.

She proceeded closer to me. But didn't speak.

"Answer me!"

Silent.

"Are you trying to help me or get me killed?" I groaned in frustration.

"You must find your answer during your own path my young friend."

Well, that helps.

I glanced at her before walking past the spirit.

"I'm done with you. I'm done with this." I said angrily.

She turned towards me with an unreadable expression.

"Listen, my safety and my family's safety is at risk. I can't handle this anymore."

"You are ready Maritza. If you stop now, everything will not better. On the contrary, it will worsen. They will not stop until you are shattered!"

"Thanks that makes me feel better." I stood up and continued, unwillingly, through the room.

I glanced back and Katerina vanished.

"She's certainly a great help." I said sarcastically.

I ventured down into this godforsaken hospital.

I checked my phone. It was almost 7pm! That went by fast.

I decided i needed to get home. I'm not entirely sure i want to take the main entrance again. Especially after what happened in that hellish hallway.

I might not know the way of out of here, but I could read. I could follow the signs that lead me to the exit.

I mean, what hospital DOESN'T have emergency exits?

Well, this isn't exactly a normal hospital.

I came to a large room. It had square holes in the walls, sinks, medical cots, and a strange metal contraption in the wall with an opening.

Then it hit me like a ton of concrete.

Those weren't cots, they're autopsy tables, and those aren't holes those are body containers.

This is a mourge.

I've always hated mourges. It sent a subzero shockwave through my body.

The lights were dim, making the already creepy room seem creepier.

I looked for the nearest exit. I quickly walked- no-ran across the room. I reached the door.

It was locked.

Of course.

I felt the temperature of the room drop dramatically. I could see my breath. Dispite the darkness.

I knew what was coming.

I ran towards the door i came from. Two feet before i got to it, it slammed shut quickly and i heard it lock.

I searched the door.

No handle.

The door was only opened from the outside.

'What! Why is there no handle!' I screamed in my head.

I stood there dumbfounded and unsure of what to do.

It's coming.

I'm trapped

There's no escape.

It will kill me.

I heard a metallic squeaking. The cots on the other side began spinning and moving fast towards me. I dodged it before it could slam into me and flipped it on its side onto the floor.

The bulb suspended by the wire in the ceiling shook violently. I heard a fierce rumbling.

The tables moved and and collided into eachother.

But they weren't attacking me.

The ground vibrated and shook furiously. I soon came to the realization.

This wasn't a demon attack.

This was an earthquake.

A/N: Haha, plot twist! Don't kill me. O3o
