I walk into the house that was once filled with happiness and groan as my mum shouts at me, telling me there is food on the table while she drags herself upstairs to bed.
I sit down sighing and start to eat the cold food on the table before running upstairs to bed while complaining to myself about the life I was living.
Lydia is fast asleep. Unlike most sisters she's kind hearted, although sometimes she can be a pain in the ass with that enormous brain of hers she's still my sweet sister.
I really miss my dad, but he doesn't miss us. He has a new family and is soon to get married to his fiancé, Audrey. I hate her! She ruined my life! But I never show it, neither does Lydia.
Then there's max. He's your typical best friend who you fell in love with type of situation. He's always been there for me and I love him. Even though he can be a jerk sometimes like today! We were supposed to go out tonight but, I got caught texting in class so, I was in detention. Initially the plan was simple, my friends bail me out and I go to meet him. I love him, no matter how mischievous he is.
When I am with him I forget about all my problems, I never have to worry about what people think or what I'm doing, I feel comfortable around him. Emma and Becky hate him but as long as I am happy, they're alright with it.
