Chapter 1

I, once again look my self in the mirror, scanning my whole body if everything is fall into right place. I turned around for me to see my long hair that I even curled for tonight. I didn't put too much make up, I just emphasize my eyelashes using a mascara and my lips with a scarlett red. I sighed, I'm very thankful to my parents for giving me such a beautiful genes.

This party was the perfect start of our vacation. After a lot of paper works, demanding professors, and an effin schedule that I had. And of course, because I miss my cousins.

I headed to the place where the girls are, I'm sure they can't miss it.

"Liby!" And speaking,

"Kellie.." Niyakap ko agad ang butihin kong pinsan. Tuwing may pasok kasi kami ay hindi pwede ang gimik, that's our pact.

I noticed the guy behind her and I looked back at her with a naughty smile.

"Sorry," She chuckled. "..this is Tristan, remember? My boyfriend." Nasabi ko na ba na siya ang good girl samin? Pero siya pa ngayon ay may boyfriend, you can't judge nga naman.

"Of course, Tristan." I thought that they're just flirting though.

"Where's George by the way?" I asked, dapat nandito na siya.

"Miss me?" And there she is! My, well.. I can say that she's my favorite cousin, yun nga lang, may pagka-boyish siya and we're totally opposite about that. I don't know how that happened, kung tutuusin si Kellie 'tong may mga lalaking kapatid.

"Akala ko na late na ko, wew."

"Hope!" Sigaw ni Kellie. Kahit malakas ang music ng DJ, alam kong exagg ang sigaw ni Kellie.

She headed to Kels first.

"I miss you." Kellie says. She hugged Georgia too. Nag beso naman siya sa akin, she's my sister, so I don't need to miss her.

At dahil ngayon ay kumpleto na kami..

"We are all going to have fun!" I said in victory.

Malakas ang music ng DJ, sinusulit dahil may iba pang mag peperform, sobrang nakaka enganyo sumaway. Well, what will you expect from a party?

"I think I'm going to have a boyfriend tonight." I said, matagal narin akong walang boyfriend. Teka, hindi ko matandan na nagkaroon ako?

I may look liberated but I'm not. I have my goals, and I don't want to dissapoint my parents, so I set aside my kalandian when I'm schooling.

"Lib, I thought you already had. Five or ten rather boyfriends." George said, and they all laughed. I just flipped my hair.

"Excuse me, boyfriend and flings are both different story. Duh." I snap.

Yes, I admit it. I love to flirt. I like boys- no, I like boys who have an interest on me. I don't do the first move, hello? Pero hindi na ba pwedeng magbago ang tao? In short, hindi na ba ako pwedeng magseryoso? I'm already twenty one, I want a serious relationship.

But you can't find love in a party like this!

"Kaya mo ba? I mean, we all know you." Kellie asked. Minsan ang sarap niyang sampalin.

"Of course, my perception from now on 'learn to love commitment'." Hmm, that sounds good, Lib!

Mga nakangiwi namang ang pagmumukha ng mga pinsan ko.

"Lib. That's. Impossible," Hope said lazily. "..That is not so you."

I look at Hope who was earthier version of me. Isang taon lang ang agwat namin kaya magkasama kami sa lahat ng kalokohan, of course she is pretty. But if one sister is prettier than the other one, it was going to be me. Because fortunately, I got all the attention I want and the one I never needed.

Nagpaalam muna ako na kukuha ng drinks. When I reached the stool, I ordered my favorite Martini. I scanned the crowd, they're all look so wild.

And the guys here? They are all hot. But no one can get my attention, I want unique. I wish I had a cigarette in my hand.

Up on the stage, the band was rocking. They're look so trying hard but, as if I care.

Wait! I guess I was wrong. The vocalist had a messy hair that covers his forehead, eyes that had a hazel color. And of course, his oh-so-good damn voice! He effortlessly stroked the strings of his transparent electric guitar.

I was mesmerized. I couldn't stop biting my lower lip. He is completely irresistable.

I walked toward the edge of the stage, and tried to make eye contact with him. I know it's impossible, but this is the first time I got into a man like this, and damn! He didn't even look down here.

"Let's get high! Enjoy your night, everyone." Puro tili ng mga kababaihan ang nangibabaw.

I was about to run after them but they dissapear too fast, plus that their fans was way more faster than me. I'm not used to it, I'm not used to chase someone especially a man.

I dashed back toward where my cousins are. They are all rested now.

"I thought you are going to get laid tonight, why are you still here?" I heard Georgia asked Kellie.

"George, watch your mouth! Nakakahiya kay Tristan." Kellie answered with a little embarrassment on her face.

"Where's Hope by the way?" I asked. I don't have any business here since the vocalist can't be search.

"I think she's with her boyfriend." Kels answered. Boyfriend? Kailan pa nagka boyfriend ulit ang kapatid ko?

I past through the crowd. They are all dancing, both dirty and just having fun.

Then I spotted Hope near the exit. She was talking to some guy and her face was brightly red. She is laughing so hard when she noticed me.

"Lib!" She waved at me and gesture me to come where she are.. where they are, so I did.

"Did you watched the band earlier Lib? I want to introduce you, this is Kio and this is my sister, Liberty."

Kio. Band. Of course, was no other than the vocalist. Finally, I got to know his name.

"Hey." Kio said and offered me a handshake.

As my hand landed on his, it seems perfectly fit. It's more better than Kellie and Tristan. But after the hand shake thingy, he didn't even glance at me nor give attention on my face.

"My boyfriend, Lib." Hope proudly said.

And there, for the first time, I feel out of place.
