The Truth Comed Out

Roman went to open the door and Nico angrily stalked past him and sat down on one of the white leather couches that faced each other. On the coffee table between them was a bottle of scotch and 2 glasses. Nico looked over at his childhood friend. “Are we going to need this?”

“I predict we may go through this and another, Nic.”

Nico hadn’t heard him use his boyhood name in many years. This must be some secret that Roman had been keeping from him about Riley. He wasn’t sure that he wanted to know, but if it brought her back to them he was willing to listen to anything. “Rom will you just tell me?”

Roman sighed and poured the scotch into the glasses and pick one up throwing it back in one gulp he filled it again. His look told Nico to do the same and he watch as his friend did the same. When he had refilled his glass, Roman decided just to let him have it. “Nico, it was Theo who attacked Riley. He found out her cell phone number and told her he was coming back.”

Nico gulped down his drink and refilled it. His brother had attacked his love? He knew Theo wanted to be one of the group, but he thought he had gotten over it many years ago when Nico had told him that Riley didn’t know why she picked certain men, it just happen. He didn’t want to believe that someone in his family was responsible for Megan coming back. “How do you know it was him?”

“Riley told me and I had Bashir’s team look into it. No, he doesn’t know about it, he was just looking at Theo and where he has been. You know it tears me up Nic to have to tell you about this.” Roman downs his glass and pours another.

“He’s in the states, Rom. I talked to him yesterday. He asked me how Riley was and if I was going to see her soon, I told him about Megan.”

To say Roman was displeased was an understatement, he was livid. “That creep is in the U.S.?” Roman began pacing as he flipped open his cell and put it on speaker.

“Bashir, he is in the States.”

“Roman are you going to let me know what is going on?”

 Yes, I will finally tell you why.” Roman looked over at Nico as he gave his silent agreement. “Bashir, he is the cause of Megan showing up and yes Megan is back with us again. Although this time it seems Riley knew and is sending us messages she had stored. I’ll send you the one Nico and I got. She also has executed documents to cover everything including Eoin.”

Nico and Roman never had heard Bashir curse in 4 languages before. Bashir was the silent deadly type and it took a lot to have him go off. Obviously, this was more than enough. They had to listen to him rant and rave a good 15 minutes before he slowed down. Bits and pieces came out that this wasn’t all about Theo, it was also about Riley.

“Now I know what Riley was up to, I could ring her neck. It was my lawyers who worked on the paperwork for Eoin. I’ll bet you call the others you will find each of us had a part in this including her computer buddy Bart. She seems to have left you two out of the loop.”

It was a 2 bottle night and Nico slept on the couch in an alcohol induced sleep, tomorrow was another day, Roman did make it to his bed.

Megan met with Beverly and they discussed Riley and what part of Megan was in Riley’s life. It was Riley’s life not Megan’s as she had thought. She was a safety valve for what Riley had experienced. It took a good 3 hours for Megan to work it all through and give her a password. She sat with Beverly as she booted her laptop and entered the password.

Hi Megan,

I would hope that Beverly is sitting with you right now as you will need her help with what I have to tell you. You now know that this is my life and you are what my mind has come up with for protection. All the time you worked and had meltdowns, I’ve been right along with you. Unlike last time you came to the front, this time you are going to be prepared. I didn’t know the first time you came to be, but this time I did and planned for it.

Roman and Nico are going to train you until 1 month after Eoin arrives to act, walk, talk and basically be me. If you have thought about going blond, forget it. If you have gone back to blond, change it now. Roman and Nico are my true dominants and loves. They will be around or close enough for you to contact. After you complete your training with them you will go through a ceremony and pick another dom for more training.

I have left you a safe deposit key with Franz. You will need to take either Nico or Roman with you or both to get the key and instructions. I also have another email for you alone. No one should be with you when you read it and its contents are for you and just you. Talk to no one about it. What is in that email will happen, Megan, just when will be up to you. DO NOT OPEN THIS EMAIL UNTIL YOU TRULY BELIEVE YOU CAN DO THIS!

Megan sat there stunned and looked at Beverly. “Do you know what she has planned?”

“No. All I know is she contracted with me to provide you with psychological support for 6 months 24/7 starting today.”

Megan thanked her and walked out. She wanted to read the personal email Riley had talked about, but wasn’t ready to commit yet to Riley’s plan. Roman and Nico would be contacting her as soon as they got the emails Megan had forwarded.
