chapter 3

Kaley's p.o.v

I try to look over the crowd to see who is there. I sigh and give up. I walk back over to my corner and sit back down.

"Children settle down! Everyone line up and the guy's will come over to each and everyone of you." Ms. Miranda yelled. GUYS!?!?!?! WHAT? Okay this can not happen. ALL the things that I have experienced with guys have not been good. I don't have to worry anyways. not like they would adopt me. I line up at the end since that was the only opened space. I didn't really know what to do so I stared at the floor.

minutes passed until I saw a pair of black leather boots come into my vision.

"Um. Hi love. What's your name?" I looked up to be met with a boy with brown hair. it was kind of brown but more blackish. he had beautiful brown eyes. He looked kiwi kind of. I don't even know. I must have forgot he asked me a question because he cleared his throat and looked at me questionably.

"s-sorry. My name is K-Kaley." wow I just had to stutter.

"Hi Kaley! My name is Calum. Would you like to meet my friends and answer a few questions." I just nod. I don't see the point it's not like he will adopt me. When we arrive to the room where his friends where I see 3 other boys. One of them is really tall. his hair is in a quiff and he has blue eyes. that's when I realize he has a lip ring. that is really cool. Then I see a boy with brownish goldish curly hair. Then a boy with blue hair. (a/n I'm making Michael's hair blue in this.) They all seem really young.

'Hello! come have a seat." curly says. he pats a spot next to him on the couch. I walk over and sit down. "What is your name?"

"K-Kaley."

"Do you mind answering a few questions." Calum asks.

'I don't m-mind."

"So how old are you?"

"16."

"How long have you been here."

"10 years." They all exchange glances.

"How many times have you been adopted."

"2 times."

"Okay, what kind of music do you listen to."

"Different kinds. I don't get to listen to music here though."

"Awe that sucks."

"Yeah."

when they said that I got up and walked away. I knew they didn't want me so I went up to my room. I decided to just go to sleep.

Calum's p.o.v

Kaley was so beautiful. When I saw her I knew she was the one. She had on long sleeves which I didn't understand it is really hot here. We asked her a few basic questions and I felt bad. 10 YEARS IN THIS PLACE! that must suck. I want to give her a family. I want to show here love. I want her to know she matters.

"She is the one." Luke declared. I smiled knowing I wasn't the only one who thought so.

"Yeah she seems great" Ashton and Michael both said.

"I was thanking the same thing when I saw her.she is so beautiful. she seems shy though." I told them.

"Ill go sign the papers the rest of you go help her with her stuff." Ashton is going to be the dad I guess. he is older so it makes since. Me, Michael, and Luke walk up the stairs to get her.
