Chapter 21- Is this what i want?

*Kaley*
"Hey Michael can you drop me off at masons house on the way home?" I ask him as we pull out of Nikki's driveway.

"Yeah sure, do you just want to stay the night there. I don't know if it's particularly good for you to be home."

"Yeah let me make sure it's good with mason."

I pull my phone out of my back pocket and go straight to our conversation.

"Why isnt it good for her to be at you guys place?" Nikki asked.

"Um well. We are going to have to tell you because I don't want you surprised when you get there. Earlier luke had over heard Kaley on the phone and found out that she was the reason you left. He became really mad at Kaley. He called her some really harsh things and s-slapped her." Michael informed her.

She gasped and covered her mouth with her hand.

"Really?! That's not the Luke I know. I don't know if I should come back."

"NO! Look. Yes he did lash out on me but, I deserved it I shouldn't have messed with you guys I had no right. I deserved more then the punishment that I got. When we were leaving Ashton and Calum were out raged so..." I trailed off.

"Kay don't say that. Don't say you deserved that because you didn't." Michael said looking at me through the rearview mirror as he drove. I just silently leaned agains the door and looked out of the window. It was silent the whole rest of the way.

*Mason*
I'm excited for Kaley to be coming over. Today's the day I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. I really hope she says yes. She is so pretty!

I got a text saying that she is here so I went to the front door and there she was.

"Hey mase! What's up?"

"Nothing but I need to talk to you about something." I start as we make our way up to my room.

" yeah you can talk to me about anything."

"Well this isn't very romantic but I was wondering if um you would be my girlfriend?" I asked her.

*Kaley*

"...... I was wondering if um you would be my girlfriend?" Wow! I didn't think he really liked me like that. The next thing I did shocked even me.
