Chapter 17- Big plans

Nikailas P.O.V

I don't want to do this at all. Having all this fun with Luke but inside knowing I'm going to break up with him, it sucks. I love him so much. I really want everyone to be happy even of that means I'm not happy. I wonder though why Kaley doesn't like me. I never did anything to her.

"Babe, you okay?" I snap back into reality and realize it was our turn to play the next game.

"Yeah I'm just fine." I hate lying to him but I have to do what I have to do

*Kaley*

I feel a little guilty watching how happy Luke is with her. If I want to make this whole 'trusting' and 'family' thing work she can't be in the picture. It's better for everyone. Right?

--Skip to back at the house--

Nikaila looks very nervous. I leaned over to her to make sure everything's working out.

"The plan is still on right?" I whispered. She just replied with a shaky nod. I sent her a sympathetic smile. I'm not going to lie, I feel bad for her. I know what it's like to have to leave people you love. So I know it hurts.

"Hey this is my stop. I had a lot of fun with you. Walk me to the house?" Mason Asked As we got to his stop. I nodded and climbed out of the car.

As we walked up to his porch he intertwined our fingers. As we got right by his door he stopped and faced me.

"I had a really great time with you tonight. I hope we can do that again sometime. Maybe just me and you?" He asked.

"Are you asking me on a date?"

"If that's what you want it to be miss Irwin."

"Sounds great! I'll text you later." A car horn sounded meaning I need to hurry up.

"Bye. " he gave me a quick hug and I made my way back to the car with a big smile on my face.

"You guys didn't kiss right?" Ashton asked. Wow!

"No we didn't Dad!" I groaned and then realized what I said. I just called him dad! I looked at him through the mirror and he had a big smile on his face. Everyone else liked at me and smiled.

About 15 minutes later we got to the house and Luke and Nikaila went to his room. This is happening.

*Luke*

This can't be happening!

"Baby please don't do this. We can work this out (A/N anyone else think about HSM) Why are you doing this. I thought you loved me."

"Never thought I'd be the one to say this but what if our time has come and gone."

"No please!"

"I'm sorry Luke. I love you." And with those words she was gone. Tear stains and running makeup. NO!

I wish I could just wake up with amnesia and forget how she left.
