Chapter 10- shopping part 3

*Calums' P.O.V*

Are they a thing now? I don't like it. I want Kaley to trust ME. Come to me when she is sad or upset. I want to be there for her. It hurts that she doesn't trust me enough so she goes to Michael instead. That should be me holding her while she cries. I should be the one whispering sweet things in her ear to calm her down. I guess ill just need to accept that I cant be until she trusts me more. How can I do that though? How do I get her to trust me?

"Hey guys! What's up?" I looked over to where the voice was coming from. That's when I saw Lukes current girlfriend, Nikaila. She has beautiful brown/blonde hair. She also has beautiful green eyes that you could get lost in. She is always happy no matter what life throws at her. Nothing really bothers her. She is a lot like Luke. They both like the same bands and food, PIZZA! Don't get me wrong I like her but, only as a friend. I like someone else right now.

"Hey babe." Luke said pulling her onto his lap. They are so cute. They should stay together.

"Hey. Where is Kaley I can't wait to meet her! She could be like the little sister I never had! I can do her hair, nails, and make-up!" She was genuinely excited. Maybe she can also be there for Kaley if she has like girly problems. Luke chuckled and pulled her into a kiss. We all groaned at them.

They pulled away just as Kaley and Michael came back. Might I add holding hands. Kaley took her seat right back beside me and Michael took his beside Ashton. She gave a scared glance at Michael but he gave her a reassuring nod in response. I wonder what that's about?

"So you must be Kaley?" Nikaila said. Kaley just nodded but didn't look up. She just fiddled with her fingers as if they are the most interesting thing in the world. Nikaila looked at Luke but he just told her its okay.

''Kaley don't be rude." Luke scolded. Is he serious? Can't he tell she is scared. Me, Ashton, and Michael looked over at Luke giving him the 'WTHF' look. He just shrugged it off.

Kaley looked up with a hurt expression before giving her a simple "Hi".

"Hey, My name is Nikaila! It's nice to meet you." She said nicely. She really is trying but Kaley doesn't want it. She doesn't trust and Luke doesn't need to be pushing her.

"Yeah. Um I n-need t-to u-use the b-bathroom." She got up and started running. Oh no. Me, Mike, and Ash ran after her.

*Kaleys P.O.V.*

I started running and I know exactly where I'm going. I turned around and saw 3 of the boys running after me. I really am out of shape but they are way behind me so I think I'm good. I ran right into the Hot Topic looking for the one person that can maybe help me out.

"Mason! I need your help." I exclaimed still out of breathe.

"What's wrong Kay?" I like that nickname.

"Okay so my Brother/ Uncle/ Guardian, I don't even know, brought his new girlfriend round and I don't trust her. But Luke doesn't accept hat so I ran here to get your help. I just- please." I sound really desperate but, at this moment I kinda am.

"No problem. Let's get out of here. We can go on a walk around the mall and talk." I nodded as he walked over to another worker I guess to tell them what he is doing.

He walked back over to me and intertwined our hands. We walked out of the store. I looked around for the boys but didn't see them round. We started our walk around the mall.

"Well how about you tell me some things about you?" He asked.

"I am 16. The best food in the world is pizza. I like a few bands. I didn't really get to listen to music before...." I trailed off not really knowing if I should tell him about being adopted.
