Chapter 14

Timothy's POV

It's Saturday morning. Sayang walang pasok. Hindi ko makikita si Sofia.

Naawa na ako sa kanya. Gusto ko siyang tulungan, pero hindi ko alam kung paano.

Haayyy..

Naramdaman ko nalang na may umupo sa tabi ko. It's dad.

"Mukhang malalim ang iniisip ng anak ko ha?"

Nginitian ko lang si dad.

"May problema ba? Care to share?"

Tumingala ako sa langit at pumikit. Hindi ko ito itatangi kay dad, open naman kasi kami sa isa't isa ng pamilya ko.

"There is this girl..." panimula ko.

Tiningnan ko si daddy, he's just listening.

"...that i love"

"Aba! binata na anak ko! Ipakilala mo sakin anak."

I smiled bitterly

"She's taken...."

Natahimik lang si dad.

"She love her boyfriend so much. She didn't tell me but i know she does. But that guy... he played with other girls. He never fail to hurt her.. but still she love him"

"Win her. Save her from that misery. If that man doesn't truly love her, it's not wrong to take her away from him. "

seryosong sagot ni daddy

"It's not that easy dad. I don't know if she like me even just to be her friend. We were a total opposite dad."

"Opposite do attract son."

Ngumiti lang ako kay daddy.

"Remember son. Everything happened for a reason. God has his reason why he let you meet that girl, either she'll change you, or you'll change her. Either way, God has his purpose."

"Thanks dad!"
