Beneath The Colors

Beneath the colors of us,
beneath the colors of our love,
beneath the colors of our youth,
and beneath the colors of our desires
lies a color of darkness.

A color that's cold and relentless,
Holding our deepest secrets,
Threatening to
Spill them to the public
And let them haunt us for eternity.

A color so unforgiving,
Refusing to forgive us for our sins,
Shaming us to unbelievable
Measures and ripping us apart
Unsympathetically.

A color that is black,
That is so cold and relentless
And unforgiving and unsympathetic,
But is also wonderfully beautiful,
And pathetically mesmerizing that we forget

All about being
torn apart.
