Harry's POV
"I'm tired of waiting, dammit," I mutter under my breath looking out sitting on top of a hotel room we got in New York. Tomorrow we were heading back to England first thing in the morning. I searched all throughout the venue for our New York concert to find her. I found nothing. I couldn't help but sit here feeling frustrated and hopeless.
Garron, you must learn patience in order to be released.
"Patience is such a waste of time." I grumble again. "And I do not like being called that name."
Garron is the name given by the Sinful Father is it not?
I grit my teeth in annoyance. "Yes,"
You will find her.
"When? I've waited for so many years now; did so many things to preoccupy myself...to be able to find her since I'm touring." He almost laughed bitterly. How long would he have to be a One Direction icon for him to finally stop laughing?
Fate is on your side; we are on your side.
"Sometimes I feel like no one is on my side," I whisper looking out upon the horizon again watching the sun go down and the city lights start to glimmer fabulously before him.
Sometimes, fate has a way of putting her in a place you'd never expect.
I shook my head to make the annoying heavenly voice go away. Not only did that irritate the hell out of me, but I completely despise when it starts talking in riddles. I sighed heavily trying to stop scowling, but it turns out I'm going to stay away all night just frowning down at the city in complete and utter frustration.
"Hey mate," A familiar Irish accent said from behind.
"Niall," I sighed again not bothering to look back.
"Louis and Eleanor are gonna meet us at the airport in England tomorrow," He says casually sitting down beside me eating some popcorn. "He said Eleanor wouldn't stop with the shopping, and that they met some pretty interesting designers."
"That's a great story Niall," I say monotone like.
He frowns. "I knew you seemed off but now you're seriously off. What's going on?"
Can't tell him. "Nothing that you should actually be concerned about."
"Oh, really?"
"Yeah,"
Niall smirks. "Oooooh, I see what's going on here,"
"What?" I turn to him.
He waggles his eyebrows. "Haven't found the right lady yet, have we?"
I run a hand through my hair. "No, I'm completely capable of dating anyone."
"But it's hard to find the one is a bit more challenging is it not?" He takes a handful of popcorn and throws them up in the air and catches it in his mouth.
I stand. "I just need a place to think, alright?"
Niall shrugs standing. "Sure, mate, we were just gonna head to a signing." He pouts. "You'll disappoint so many adoring Harry fans."
"Tell them I was too tired,"
"Alright, we got your back," He puts a hand on my shoulder. "We'll always be here, okay?"
I mustered a smile. "Yeah, sure, I knew that."
"Okay, good," And with that, the hyperactive-forever hungry, Irish boy left.
I sat down and ended up laying at my back watching as the stars started appearing in the sky. I reached up as if to touch them and quickly pulled my hand back down. No, I can't do it here. Too many people around. I sighed yet again and let the wind caress my face.
The wind almost felt like a gentle hand trying to calm me and immediately I whispered. "Clair..." When the name was uttered on my lips I quickly sat up and shook my head. No, I couldn't think of her now. I narrowed my eyes; I can think of her once I complete my mission.
I'm on your side, Garron. A dark feeling settled within me, and I let it. It was much harder to deny Him.
