     HARRY'S POV

When Gracie was confirmed alright in the hospital I gave her a red rose I bought in the get-well shop. It was probably the least I could do after scaring her like that.

She smiled the smile that made that weird warm feeling spread across my chest. "Thanks, Harry,"

I remember sitting with the guys discussing some new song ideas until I felt this pull in my chest. A horrific feeling that Gracie was in danger and needed me. I guess it was one of those guardian angel moments. I wasted no time making up an excuse and flying to her rescue like freaking superman but with black wings instead of a red cape. And by the horror I saw in her eyes before squeezing the life out of that man made me anything but a super hero. But as we walked out towards my car that I drove here waiting for the tests to come back I realized she wasn't as frightened as before. In fact, she was practically leaning on me as we made our way to the car. And I let her. It was really strange not being able to push her away at the moment. I mean, I was cold, but how could I do that after she was attacked? The thought infuriated me making my fists shake. Luckily, she didn't notice.

When we got into the car she spoke up. "Thank you again,"

        "It's no problem,"

She swallowed hard. "Did you...kill him?"

"Why would you care? He was going to rape you."

"But that doesn't make murder right. Besides, I'm more worried about your image being compromised."

I laughed bitterly. "No need to worry about something like that."

        "But-"

        "He's not dead, okay?"

        "You're sure?"

I sigh at her usual persistence. "Yes,"

She sighed in relief leaning back. "Okay, good."

I couldn't help but let an easy smile cross my features.

"You know, you look better when you smile like that,"

I turn to her in shock; she was smiling too. "W-What are you going on about?"

"That easy smile of yours? You only get it around the boys; I thought I was only a pain in your ass."

That deserved a genuine laugh. "Hah! You are a pain in my ass, Gracie."

        She snorts. "Oh, well then,"

I continue to smile. "But it's alright."

She raises her eyebrows. "You don't mind it?"

I shrug. It's my job not to.

"I don't want to go home yet,"

I turn to her in surprise. "Gracie, it's eleven at night. Everyone is waiting for you; it took every convincing bone in my body to not have them come to the hospital. They're all waiting for you,"

She turned to the window so I couldn't see her face. "We'll go home later I know people are worried but..."

I sighed heavily; I guess this was a chance to get to know her better. "Where do you want to go then?"
