Chapter fourteen

P.O.V. of Jade

Dosu starts to explain how his attacks work, how he doesn't have to touch us for us to get hit by the attack because of the sound waves his arm piece admits. They tell Lee that his attacks won't work, but they haven't even seen mine yet. They don't know my power.

"How about be stop talking and get on with the fight," I say, getting angry, but I don't  know why. Dosu agrees and then runs at me but before I could even do a hand sign lee runs at him. What is he doing?? I notice his ears are bleeding. "Lee I can handle this!" But Dosu hits Lee and let's out a high pitched sound wave right next to Lee's ear. I see that he can control the wave and makes it go right to his ear. I do a hand sign and use my Chakra field to bounce the sound wave away from Lee.

"Nice trick little girl," Dosu says. He stops the wave and I see Lee fall to the ground, he looks bad. "But now it's time to end this," he says looking at Lee. But Sakura throws kunai's at Dosu, but he blocks them making her attack useless. If I wasn't in the middle of a fight, I would have facepalmed so hard. This failed attack turns his attention away from Lee and I and right on to Sakura. I don't know what to do. I can still sense other ninja around but I have no idea who they are, or why they haven't joined the fight yet.

Sakura throws shariken at Dosu but his guy team mate blocks them and send air currents at Sakura and I run in front of her and do a quick chakra field to direct it away from her. But then I hear her gasp and see that the girl of the sound ninja team was holding Sakura by her hair. I turn back around to keep my attention on the air current guy. He winks at me. Ew.

The girl starts to insult Sakura and say stuff about her hair and letting Zaku (the other guy) finish Sasuke off in front of her. Did they totally forget about me?  I see Sakura start crying.

"Sakura get a hold of yourself!" I yell. This makes Zaku turn his attention to me.

"What are we going to do with this beautiful girl?" He asks smirking. I feel anger and power rush through me. I see something black blow across my face and I don't know what it is until I realize it is my hair. Wait.. What?? How did my hair turn black? I pretend like I doesn't bother me and watch Zaku's every move. I sense a change in chakra come from behind me. I want to turn to see what it is but I can't take my mind off Zaku.

"Why don't we capture her and take her back to Orochimaru, and then you can finish Sasuke off," the girl says pulling harder on Sakura's hair. I swallow but before I could move I get hit by Zaku's air and go flying. I hit a tree and feel pain surge through out me. I spit up some blood and just sit there on my hands and knees, watching as Zaku starts to walk toward Sasuke.
