Chapter twenty-five

P.O.V. of Kakashi

"We don't have long to talk, the next two fighting is not a good match and I feel like it will escalate quickly, but we must talk about orochimaru."

"Who is he? Is he really my father?"

"Yes he is but he did horrible things to you and other children when you were younger. That is why you can do different kekkei genkai."

"W-what did he do?"

"He... he did experiment," I say feeling myself tear up, " he would mix organs and blood of other clans into children to create weapons. None of them survived... other than you and one other."

"What does he want with Sasuke?"

"He wants to use him, as a pawn, and he has set the seed of power in him. Sasuke someday will go to him. But he also wants you."

"W-why?"

"Like I said Jade, you are literally the strongest weapon in the world."

"But how did I get away from him?"

"Our father, Sakumo, tracked you down to save you. He gave you to a family of farmers so you would be hidden but orochimaru found you and killed them but we saved you again."

"Why is my name Kyūseishu?"

"There is a legend that says, the first Daughter born with in the Sannin will be able to have to power to save or destroy Konoha, and you are the first daughter born within the great three ninjas, so you birth father named you his savior. He believes you will destroy konoha as he wishes." I see that Jade is terrified that her birth father is this monster, I decided not to tell her anymore of the legend, if I do she might actually want to search for Orochimaru when she is older.

"I would never do that!"

"I hope you are right," I say and then look back toward to arena, "We should get back in there I feel as if something bad is about to happen." And something bad was going to happen. When we walked back in I see that Hinata is beaten to a pulp but she is still trying to fight, I then see Neji run at Hinata.

"Neji! I said the battle is over!!" the proctor yells and I know we all need to intervene. All the Junin, other than Asuma, block Neji from hitting his cousin. Guy talks to him about leaving his Main Branch Problems (family tree stuff) out of this and that the fight is over and then he takes him back up to the upper level. Naruto and some of the others come to check on Hinata to see if she is ok after she collapses.

P.O.V. of Jade

I walk back up to the balcony after they take Hinata away, but I was soon stopped by one of the Sand Siblings, Gaara.

"Your Hatake Jade, right?" he asks staring at me.

"Yeah what about it?"

"Nothing, I'm just interested in your fighting style. Why did you not destroy that Ten Ten girl?"

"I didn't have a reason to," I say and then walk away. I feel all of the Sand Siblings staring at me as I walk away but I don't care. The ninth battle is between Lee and Gaara. They both go down to the battle area and I watch, but I am very distracted from my brother's conversion with me. lee tires to us Konoha Hurricane but gaara blocks it with sand... but he didn't move... I look over and see Naruto talking to Kankuro. I walk over there slowly.

"Physical attacks are worthless against Gaara. The sand forms a shield to protect his body independently from his will. That's why to this day there's not one person who has ever wounded him," Kankuro says

"Well that might change today. Lee is stronger than you think," I say. I hear Master-Guy talking about lee and how he cannot use ninjutsu or genjutsu, but I had already heard this story a thousand times. I focus back on the fight, lee gets hit but jumps back onto the hand sign statue behind him.

"Lee take them off!" Guy shouts to him.

"B-but Master Guy! You said never to do that unless I was defending the lives of people who are precious to me!!" lee shouts back.

"It's all right! I'll allow it!" I smirk as lee takes off his leg weights that he always wore.

"Right! Now I can move freely!" he says happily. When the weights hit the floor, it makes the cement shatter. Everyone seems surprised by it, other than me and master guy.

Kakashi says, "Aren't you over doing it guy?" then lee was off. Now every time Gaara's sand tried to block his attacks his hand or foot would get through it. Finally Lee got through and kicks him!

"Hmmp, told you," I say looking at Kankuro.

"This is bad..." Kankuro says.

"You got that right! That raccoon-eyed jerk! After the way he just got hit, he shouldn't be standing!" Naruto says. I roll my eyes at his stupidity.

"That's not the problem," Kankuro says, not taking his eyes off of Gaara. I turn my attention toward the fight and see sand falling off Gaara like layers of skin. He has a horrifying expression on his face, it's not even human. "If this Gaara is able to catch lee..."

"Wait, this Gaara?" I ask, trying hard not to look at his face.

"Lee will be toyed with, then killed." I gasp. The sand starts to wrap around Gaara again and Kankuro explains that it is like a Sand Armor, Gaara's ultimate defence.

"Is that all?" Gaara asks in a sinister voice. lee starts to unravel his arm wraps. He then countinues to perform the lotus. He does the move perfectly, slamming Gaara's body into the ground, which shatters around it. But only the sand shell is left. When did he get out?

"LEE, DON'T LET THAT CREEP BEAT YOU," I yell as Gaara appears behind lee. A tidal wave of sand hits him. As this happens I feel someone grab my hand. Kankuro. What is up with these guys? Why do they all seem to like me? Anyway I want to shake him off but this show of affection comforts me. lee tries to stand up but again, he is hit with more sand. At the sight of this I squeeze kankuro's hand unknowingly. The next attack though, lee dodges.

"For you it ends here!" Gaara says with a devilish smile.

"Well, one way or another the next move will be the last." Lee replies.
