(Edmunds POV)

"Emmy," I laughed, grasping her forearms as she fussed over me, looking me up and down for the millionth time to ensure I hadn't acquired any wounds while conversing with Mallymkin. "Im fine."

She frowned in the most adorable way possible, her bottom lip jutting out just enough to drive me crazy. She huffed in annoyance and swatted at my chest with the back of her hand, leaning her head back against the wall in the hallway that we were all gathered in. Everyone was talking at once, asking Peter and I loads of questions about what was said and things like that. Unfortunately for all of them our attention was a bit preoccupied with the women in front of us.

I waited for the moment when everyones eyes were trained elsewhere before snatching Emmy around her waist and tugged her behind me. I smiled as a few giggles slipped from her between her fingers that were clasped over her mouth, her other hand resting on my back as we bounded down the unnecessarily long staircase.

Upon reaching the bottom, Susans voice rang out, shouting for us to come back and collect our things because we'd be leaving soon, but that only made us run faster. We reached an empty corridor within seconds that was just far enough away were we could still hear everyone, but couldn't be seen or heard ourselves.

Emmy leaned back against the wall, letting her head fall back as I leaned on the wall to the left of her on my side, my arm resting just above her head. My other hand came up slowly, brushing her hair out of her face, cupping her cheek gently and tracing her jaw line.

"How did she get in here?" She asked quietly, the sound of her sweet voice making me sigh as I was positively sure it was actually her this time.

"Magic, I think. She was disguised as you though, so maybe she just walked in." I shook my head at the thought of something so terrible pretending to be something so innocent.

"She has magic?" She exclaimed, her brown eyes going wide as she met mine frantically, searching for an answer.

"No, I dont think so. I'm pretty sure it was just borrowed."

"How did you know it wasn't me?" I frowned as the question I was so dreading left her lips.

"She- she kissed me and I knew." I closed my eyes, waiting for the reaction I was sure would be terrible, though after that I was convinced I deserved it, but it never came. Instead, I felt her hand brush against my cheek causing me to snap my head up.

I opened my mouth to speak, but before I could her lips closed around my bottom one and I was completely gone, lost in the heaven that was Emmy. I shivered as her fingers danced up the back of my neck, tangling in my hair, tugging a bit. I felt her lips curve into a smile and I smirked to myself, nipping at her lip in retaliation, but the only thing that was accomplished was us molding together even more passionately.

Alas, the bliss didn't last long as my youngest sister scampered around the corner, gasping dramatically as her eyes landed on us. "Edmund!" Lucy cried. We broke our kiss, but neither of us made any move to leave each others embrace, staring back at her with startled expressions. "You'd better be glad I insisted on coming to find you instead of Susan. She'd have your head if she caught you doing that." Lucy waved her hand in the air and crinkled her nose as she said the word 'that' causing us both to chuckle. "Come on then. We're leaving now."

I waited until she was gone before pressing my face against the crook of Emmys neck and laughing. "So, are we courting now?" She asked once she'd finished laughing herself, threading her fingers back into my hair.

"No." I responded, leaning back just enough to see the pale skin of her neck. Not being able to stop myself I leaned forward and pecked the side of her neck twice before pulling back. "If we're courting I cant be alone with you without a chaperon which isn't actually being alone."

"And no more kissing because that isn't acceptable." She added, tapping my nose with her finger, letting it fall to my lips and then my chin before dropping her hand. I grinned at her, taking her hand in mine and lacing our fingers together as we began making our way back to the group. "But really ed, what are we?"

I kissed her cheek firmly, smiling as she giggled again, eliciting the sound I could never grow tired of. "Us."
